CP is a midlander, thus will root for Macklin.

I give Macklin and Barker props for fighting each other. I hope nothing crops up that prevents them meeting.

I wonder why EVERY thread that involves an Irish boxer deteriorates like this one.

Probably a multitude of reasons - the main one being British fans general ignorance, I mean ignorance in the truest form of the word as in lack of knowledge, with regards Irish fighters or fighters in general that dont boxing on SKY Sports.

I said they are ignorant of the Irish fight scene and Irish fighters - not ignorant in general. Some of them are even able to use a SKY+ remote so they cant be that bad.
