I thought he was a cock when he knocked that African over and then started shouting into the camera, but to see him take them shots against McKenzie and not look arsed when he got up made me like him. I love a guy who takes big shots then look like you've just hit their gloves.

Whatta chin.

I admire Tony and his work ethic is second to none, I do believe he would have a lot to say about the level opponent he would fight if he was champ.

Waste of time opponent...makes no sense whatsoever to fight this guy instead of rematching bellew, who we know for sure will put up a competative fight at the very minimum. if buncey is really defending this fight ,as well as slagging froch off for fighting bute, he should be ashamed of himself.

I thought Tony was off the mark when he thought he'd delivered a boxing masterclass in Ovil II but then he went and fought like a Warrior against Cleverley which wiped that clean.

Principles do exist however they, unsurprisingly get pushed to the side when the guy responsible for the Cleverley - Kapency is also the one who pays you...

Cleverly has been announced as a 1/25 favourite (Bwin) though Stan James have him at 1/33...says it all.

Promoters shouldn't be able to be a fighter's manager too.

They'd still get around it but promoters should be in the business of selling A fight not guiding a fighter through his career without risk too.

The paying punter is on the corner of that triangle that gets dipped in shit.

hoping to be there on 25feb to see Clevs homecoming.a little dissapointed with the oppenent, but in all honestly im happy that hes not been put in with hopkins, dawson etc.i feel theres no rush for these fights yet,as clev is still learning and is not the finished product. be nice to see big Enzo Macc on the bill and i think he would relish a shot at clev in 2012 as age is against him.hopefully a creditable ranked opponent will create this.
feb25 will be another great day for myself-first seeing our the rugby boys kick some chariot botty, then over to the motorpoint arena....."AND STILL WBO LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT ..........!
YMLAEN CLEV!! :bag: CYMRU AM BYTH!!!!

Unsure what capacity its being set up for but i'd imagine it'll be about 4,000. Still, 6 weeks out from the fight thats surely good going regarding tickets and hopefully demostrates that Cleverly does have a fan base and thats its a shame he wasnt given the chance to build 10 fights ago when he was British and Commonwealth champ. :(
Good going but will people be happy with all the mismatches on the bill!

Well people are buying tickets and i don't think anyone is expecting anything but the usual from FW. I think people just want to watch Cleverly in his hometown regardless of his opponent.
As I said they would.
