Larry, you are a cheat, plain and simple. To even think of a comeback after the four year ban is laughable. No excuses. Do you think anyone in boxing will ever take you serious again? You're a joke.

Can I also just add that a cheat and a liar are basically the same thing. He's trying to shift the blame to others to justify his own actions. Curtis and the other lads, don't be put off or take anything said here as the truth because it is one man trying to mask his own downfall as though, 'it's cool. I'll be back in four years. Others do it, so I did'.

The message this sends out to the youth is totally and absolutely despicable. 'He bullied him so I can bully him' etc. Be a true sportsman. Be true to yourself. Be someone the youth can look up to. Be a guiding light to the talent coming through. Don't be a drug using, false wannabe fake and then try to condone your actions and claim 'everyone' does it. No excuses.

A quick response? Close the door on your way out.

I've never liked him to be honest, he's just a remarkably arrogant man, and a pretty overrated trainer IMO, all that Dr. Roach crap got way out of hand.

Not nearly as much of a tw@t as Alex Ariza though. He should be stoned to death.
Yeah completely agree, I think Emmanuel Steward is a superior trainer and the list of fighters he has trained over the years easily surpasses Roach's but he doesnt get the same acclaim I dont feel.

Macho - they'll be testing everyone; including the syncronised swimmers at the Olympics for the use of PEDs. It is not just body builders, power lifters and heavyweight boxers that use; and they use for a genuine and scientifically measured reason and not a placebo effect.

They do test at British Title level and have random tested boxers of this level and above. The problem lies at the lower levels where testing is non existent.

Yeah I did mean random testing both below and above that level. It should be a case of if I were to take up boxing and succesfully get a licence I could expect one day for someone to walk in and say 'excuse me Mr Wilson can you take a piss in here please' and it not be someone with a weird fetish wanting me to piss in their mouth.

This is the HW boxing division we are talking about!!!!
Your judgement on this is compromised though by the fact he is a friend of yours.
Lads!! :KO: :KO:  and im talking to leftysreturn and palooka, respectfully who told you guys i am friends with warmachine....Ive never met or spoken to him and only saw a handful of his fights......i have only ever commented in one thread previously by warmachine........I just know when something stinks....and the whole scapegoating of Larry O is an utter disgrace and the way the forum has turned on him is terrible...a 4 year ban while the rest of the dirty business goes scott free....well....no wonder so many are turning away from the sport.

They never test at 6 round level, but they do test at title level and to my knowledge Larry is the only one who has been caught in Britain

Larry I dont think the issue is you purely cheating, its more to do with the fact that you don't seem to care, I mean aside from the fact you've been caught and banned for 4 years and people are talking about you negatively. You dont seem to take into the consideration the opponents you had an unfair advantage over and also the fact you could of caused them serious damage or even killed them. You're taking a very selfish attitude and your argument of well Mosley and Jones jnr,etc did it and yet there hasnt been the same reaction. Well those particular incidents happened a few years back now whereas this is fresh in the mind. The majority of the boxing fans would be just as annoyed with Mosley and the like as they have been with you! The reason why they havent been punished to the extent you have is firstly they didnt admit to doping for there whole careers *which you should be commended for admitting by the way* and secondly they're massive names in world boxing and the reality is whilst its unjust is that big names and big earners will always have more power and ability to get out of shitty situations than the average person/ boxer. Thats just life generally mate! Its not right but thats how it is.

Larry, what are you intending to do now?

I guess you'll be trying to break into acting full-time? I know you mentioned you were offered a role in Wrath of the titans. Would be good for you to also talk to young boxers about not making the same mistakes that you did.

Good post as despite what Larry and others have said there isn't this widespead PED use in boxing, maybe 10% at the most and thats exaggerating...most boxers are clean and win by hard work and dedication.

i do care and thats why i have been honest about what i have been doing for 6 years and when i say that lots are doing it. i am not saying this to take away to what i have done and i have apologised and will keep doing so but as u have mentioned the fairness in treatment is not there and for the book to be chucked at me when james toney for instance has TWICE failed tests which would have given me a life ban are given little punishment. I have done wrong and i apologise to the fans and my opponents but why cant they others do the same? and why cant they be treated with the same sanctions as me?? as long as this is not addressed then this will continue. and tha fact that micheal banbula was taking stuff should show people that it hapens at all levels

WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING THIS?

The only mistake Larry made from his perspective is BEING CAUGHT

He would still be doing it if he wasn't. How could a young boxer take him seriously?

You see from his post above he is saying sorry and so on but he can't talk about it without mentioning that "it happens at all levels". Larry feels JUSTIFIED IN TAKING ROIDS BECAUSE HE FEELS THAT IT IS RAMPANT IN BOXING

Please stop saying he should talk to young boxers. Larry is the furthest thing from a role model.

Ignore him Larry he's a pest.

Well i think you're a good bloke and a honourable man to come on here and face the fans so for that i applaud you.

It's a similar situation to how Ben Johnson was scapegoated in the 1988 Olympic final even though 7 out of the 8 finalists have all tested positive for peds after that race especially Carl Lewis who was made out to be the golden boy.

Watch this video Larry

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CN3Ov37__Ew

Like the man in that video, can you look at another boxer and tell he is on something by his physique?

It's not about me.

You can't argue with anything I have said Larry, and deep down you know that.

For what it is worth, I completely agree with you that PED use is rampant in boxing.

Still makes you a cheat and you would still be cheating if you didn't get caught. Can you deny that? Don't dodge the question.
