Oh man, what a story, you should write a book. Who is your favourite fighter? Any stories about fighters you have met that you can tell?
I talked to Joe Frazier several times, once he asked me how I felt about these young kids walking around with their pants down. Before I could say anything he said, I think it's disgraceful, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Another time, I was the MC for the Ring 8 Christmas Party in December 2010 and Joe Frazier was sitting right next to me for about 4 hours.

He had a cane but when he got up to talk he told me that he didn't need it as it was only a few steps.

Here is a web site on that party and if you go down to MVI_3470 on the left hand side about 80% down the page, you will see him talking while I helped him with the Mic. In the beginning of his speech, people were making noise and he said, Shhhh, that's because I was doing that all night long and it actually works, at least it did for me, But it didn't work for him. He said, it worked for you!

Another one to add to the two hhascup has asked which I still don't know the answer to.

I fought 4 world title challengers and 2 world champions, losing to them all.
One opponent, often credited with having one of the greatest chins in his division, named me as one of the hardest punchers he ever fought.
I only won 2 fights by stoppage.

This could be a number of fighters, such as Tommy Abobo, Delos 'Kid' Williams, Leo LeBrun, Filiberto Osario, Frank Buford or even Georgie Knox.

Could be Mel Turnbow.

You got it, well done. In interview Chuvalo named the three hardest punchers he fought as Foreman, Mike DeJohn and Mel Turnbow

I lost my first title shot in my opponent's homeland.
I won my title in my homeland.
I contested world titles in 10 countries.

Oops; typo.
Also, one country is debatable; it's technically the territory of another, though it has its own Olympic team. I included it because it's listed separately on Boxrec when, for instance, describing where judges are from.

I take it, you have Eusebio Pedroza in mind... which is why I asked about the number of countries.

I never won a world title.
I fought for one three times.
One fight was a draw.
I was stopped in the eighth the other two.
Two of the three champs whom I fought in my title fights are in the IBHOF.

Nope; he was stopped by JCC in 8, lost by SD to Azumah and was stopped in the 12th in the rematch.
Very good try, though.

I had five title shots.
In those, I lost four times.
I lost to three world champions in title shots.
Four of the five title opportunities took place in my homeland.
I was only stopped once in a title fight, and I lost a split decision in another.
One of my losses in a title fight was to an IBHOF inductee.

What was your process in answering this hhascup if you don't keep notes, it amazes me? Its quite an obscure question yet you give really great and obscure replies, do you cross reference them to boxrec first?

I lost my first title shot on one continent.
I then won a title on a second continent.
I successfully defended it once on a third continent.
In my next fight, I then lost it on the continent where I had my first title shot.

Can't give specific examples yet but couldn't that fit a few fighters, doesn't seem that uncommon to me?

I've made it a little more specific.

Well, I do know some of the answers off the top of my head (like the Pedroza question)... but lots of questions I have no idea. But then I have to use what I know, to try and zero in on the correct answer.

Take, for instance, this question from yesterday:

I fought 4 world title challengers and 2 world champions, losing to them all.
One opponent, often credited with having one of the greatest chins in his division, named me as one of the hardest punchers he ever fought.
I only won 2 fights by stoppage.
Who am I?

At first I had absolutely no idea, who this could be... but if we're talking about boxers, who are often credited with having one of the best chins in his division, 2 names immediately come to mind: Jake LaMotta and George Chuvalo. So I simply went through LaMotta's record, to see if any of his opponents could fit the profile. And when I had no luck there, I tried the same with Chuvalo... and, bingo, there was Mel Turnbow! So it wasn't all that difficult to find out.
