Sometime the small hall shows are better fights than the big areana fights. Heard Gilmours show the other night was a cracker, wouldn't pay 100 quid right enuff.
This has been done to death mate... ... were trying to keep our fighters busy and while trying to offer something different. Tickets are going well for this at this point ... but still some available.
Gary the proofs in the pudding mate you have been plugging this show on here now for 3 months and the shows not sold out, yet there only 350-400 tickets to sell!
Poor no matter which way you try and doctor it up

Billy you should be hoping this show is a success because the promoter is trying to keep small hall shows going in Scotland and keeping Scottish boxers working. There will come a day, long after Ricky Burns is retired, and when you have a stable of up and coming or journeymen boxers looking for low level fights to keep them active and people like Paul Graham could give them that chance. There must be bad blood there somewhere but as the Godfather used to say ' It's business !! '
Scotland is too small a pool for in-fighting. Bury the hatchet - and not in Paul's heid !!!!

I agree bud, Paul is trying to get guys out. But Billy has a point when he says they have been trying to sell out a 350 capacity show for 3 months. That's piss poor no matter how you look at it. I want Paul to be successful but sometime he's his own worse enemy. He releases fights months before the show to try sell the show but ALL the time there's a changes somewhere! I know this happens all the time everywhere but it seems to happen with everyone of Paul's fighters about 4 times a show. He had Stupart down to box Watson knowing that Stupart was boxing Darren Traynir. Surely Paul is experienced enough to know that Traynor was winning that fight be stoppage. Sometime I fight he says fights are made just to promote the show. But he is doing a very difficult job and I take my hat off to him because its a no win situation most of the time. I hope the show goes well. Just hope there's no more changes lol

The Watson v Stupart fight was made before the Traynor fight Tommy Gilmour must have gave Stupart more money for that fight every one on here knew how it was going to end so it out of PG hands who other boxers fight but good on him for getting his guys work and Billy N £35 small hall show gets me near the action were as the £5 extra at the big shows I'm up in the gods and no atmosphere when the undercards on but I still go to both types of shows because im a boxing fan :box:

People coming through my gym to watch sparring state watching the sparring in my gym is better than fights they've been too

Scotland is too small a pool for in-fighting. Bury the hatchet - and not in Paul's heid !!!![/ the fighters I train will be top fighters and need tv coverage so i would never have the need ask Paul.
I would manage journeymen but not train them and that's explained to them beforehand.
Yes there is an issue with Paul and he knows fine well what it is!
What I would say is the wee lad butcher and his team are a credit to him and I sincerely wish them well in there fight
