All the squaring up and shoving etc needs to be managed else it goes too far and then boxing is on the front pages for the bad reasons -(Kaylor/Christie, Hide/Bentt, Tyson/Lewis etc).

He was only in for a check up, and to check the nurse out, but he told the dentist he wanted Groves to "Fill him (Froch) in" and one thing led to another. The dentist got the wrong end of the grip. I blame George Groves, natch.

Why didn't Hearn do anything? Because it was as tame and as school play ground as it gets.

It builds interest in the fight and interest means money.

I am forever shocked on here when people get all moralistic, the same people who will be willing both fighters to 'knock the f u c k out of the other one' and think thats a good example to set.

Look lets all get off our moral high horses, this is a great fight, the needle makes it better.

As an aside Groves will always win the build up, he's just a bit more media savvy than Carl.

However, come fight night I sense we may see a focused Froch do a number on him. Saying that this fight could go either way.

I'm not moralistic, in fact I'm barely moral. I like to watch boxing and I don't like it when it's all over the front pages with articles written by anti boxing journalists because a build up has boiled over. I'm middle aged and can remember that it does the sport no good. (Though if Froch did push Groves again I'd laugh if Groves chinned him - or if the gingerbread man was David Haye and he chinned Lee Froch).

Hearn needs to show more respect to Groves but seems more interested in riding Carl's co*k. I do like Hearn and what he is doing for British boxing, but the smirking from him on the pitch at Wembly left a bad taste in my mouth, i thought he had more class than that.

On another note, i'd love for Groves to bring along a big bruiser of a mate to the next presser, one more than willing to stick one on Lee Froch's melon.
