The IBF won't mess about. Deadline extended to 7/9 for fight to happen. If not they'll strip him. Brook will fight for this title whether it's Porter or not.

Exactly as they did for Froch v Groves for example. Like it or like it not the IBF stick to their rules - all due to the FBI investigation into allegations of cash for rankings.

I hope Brook uses all this frustration as motivation and goes in with a killer instinct, I hope he doesn't over train due to the extension and wanting to impress too much. he's waited so long for this fight that maybe he might leave it all in the gym.

Local news are saying its September 6th in either New York or Las Vegas.

All the delays and everything are horribly redolent of Pat Barret's attempts to get a world title shot. I hope Brook handles it better.
