Taylor will announce it after Quillin finishes him.

Based on what he did tonight, I would probably put my money on an old, crippled Martinez vs Taylor

NDam will beat Taylor easily.

Quillin will kill him.

A story of this belt is sooo pathetic:

Sylvester -> Geale -> Barker -> Sturm -> Soliman ->Taylor

Taylor gets a lot of crap. He had a very awkward guy in front of him.. He has fought everyone and their mother in there. He has arguably, fought and won against a string of the most awkward fighters in the modern era. The dude deserves a lot more credit than what he gets.

Taylor used to be a very very good fighter but youcan see it's just not there for him anymore. I just hope he doesn't get hurt badly in his next fight. For that I hope he loses the title to soft punching NDam instead of hammer hands Quillin. Quillin would hurt him badly.

Quillin doesn't have huge power, but he has enough to hurt Taylor. Even N'Dam can hurt him.

Quillin has plenty of power.

At this stage and against the awkwardness we saw him in against tonight, I feel it's hard to give an honest assessment of Taylor. I thought he did well with what he had in front of him. I'm not willing to count him out just yet. Holyfield had a heart condition and was counted out, look what happened there.

One thing I was impressed with tonight is that Jermain looked much fresher in the late rounds than he usually does. It is in the late rounds, even at his peak, where he would fade and get hit by multiple shots. He was in a bit of a rough and tumble in there tonight and kept his composure through out.

We'll see.

My goodness what the hell was that. Looks like haymon fighters are just given titles now first Bey now Taylor with there gift titles.

Solimon was never even there to fight and Taylor looked as washed up as could be yet he's now a title holder.

Once I heard him thank Haymon I instantly got the the feeling something was up.

Solimon looked as content as can be from rd 1 like he was told just go out there and give it away.

Poor excuse of a boxing match.

I don't doubt this at all. Guy didn't even try. Then he gets a save face injury. Smells.

You guys are paranoid. This was a real injury, and Soliman did fight through the pain. I hate watching fighters like that and was upset that he managed to get a belt, but you can't say that he wasn't trying.

So does Taylor HAVE to fight Ndam? I doubt Haymon did all this just to hand off the IBF strap to a stranger.

Yet it was funny how at times he could barely stand then all of a sudden he puts full force on the leg and let's go of a combo like he's all good.

Soliman was paid off no doubt, his career wasnt going anywhere whether he remains champion or not.

Yes I'm just trying to make everyone laugh at suggesting that a fight was fixed.

Cuz as we all know a fixed fight will NEVER happen in boxing.

Wow some ppls children.

Sounds like Soliman got old overnight - he's 40 and it happens to fighters sometimes. He was never a particularly skilled or powerful guy, but fit, awkward and threw in high volume.

While I'd like to see GGG unify the belts, I DO NOT want to see him fight Taylor, that fight just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Let's hope than N'Dam gets his shot against Taylor.

Jezz it did appear that way. Even in the earlier rounds Sam looked sluggish and not nearly as active as usual. To Taylor's credit though he made Sam force the fight which opened him to counters. Sams best boxing is done when he is the counter puncher. as for a fix it makes no sense. A victory, no matter whether it was over Taylor or not, opened up doors for a bout with GGG, Quillan or NDam. The most financially lucrative bout probably would have been with Geale in Australia, if a belt was on the line. Financially it makes no sense for Sam to be part of a fix.

ha, yes, it looks appalling when you put it like that.

like some sordid race-to-the-bottom. 2 years' time it will be two homeless guys on PCP at this rate.
