Hey, here's some more Floyd to go along with that Floyd of yours.
Floyd.
I can't wait for him to retire. Jesus Christ.
But what are you gonna post about when there are no Floyd threads in the current scene??
Boxing. The forum turned into FLOYDPACREC a few years ago and it's old.

hopefully ggg will leave K2 and go to one of the biggest promoters in the world, either bob or oscar and get ppv mega fights.
opponents are enough around with froch, chavez jr, ward, cotto, canelo.....
for me ggg, with his nice personality outside the ring, his ko ratio in the the ring, just all what he brings to the table,
for me, he is the next #1 attraction in all of boxing, after chicken and pacquiao leave.
him and kovalev, while kovalev has a problem. while ggg can fight big names against froch in wembley, cotto or canelo in mgm.
kovalev only has adonis, who brings ppv. the rest....not so great, no super star material.
and dont come with X, because he is 1 or 2 fights away from an career end.

Lol dude is just mad because Floyd does nothing but win and it drives him crazy. He's the biggest name in boxing, of course people are going to talk about him lol. Floyd is the face of boxing, period! haha. These sore ass people on this forum know they won't see Floyd lose and they're sick of seeing him win and want him to lose so badly, of course they want the dude to retire. I think someones mad haha.

I appreciate Floyd and have defended him as often as I've pointed out his negatives.
What drives me crazy is people bordering on fanboy-ism with little to no reading comprehension like yourself, who type for the sake of reading their own drivel. This isnt FLOYDPACREC.
Since I didn't praise Floyd, and said I'm tired of the stupid arguments like this one- "Can he read?" and wish he'd retire, you automatically assume that I hate Floyd himself and hate to see him win.
You sir, are a clown.
Good day to you.

it is cheap to hold bad reading against anyone.
you, the ones who are all over him for this,
should be ashamed of yourself, because you
obviously can read, but really lack in character.

If that's how you feel and it makes you feel like a bigger man to say that I have no reading comprehension (even though I graduated High School with flying colors and have a College degree in business) have at it. Be mad bro and if it was such a issue to you that there are so many Floyd threads and you want him to retire, why exactly are you posting on this thread again? You sir are the clowns shoe and you know what they say, when the shoe fits wear it.
Also if you didn't have some personal vendetta against Floyd then why exactly would you want him to retire simply based on him having a lot of threads on a forum? You have the right to pick and choose what threads to read and post on, so that would also make you a troll for posting on a thread just to talk shit. I mean I don't see the logic behind hoping someone retires based on forum threads with out some other alternative motive.
You're also talking out of your ass when you say you appreciate Floyd as a fighter simply based on the petty shit that hold against the guy. Just admit it's personal and I'm sure you'll go on to live a much healthier life. uptconnect, the closet Floyd hater.

Haha wow! Floyd iz so dumm I bet hee lozez his next fyte!
But in all honesty...he's a professional boxer. Who cares if he struggles reading? I feel bad for him if true because in this day and age that's gotta make some every day tasks very difficult. But at the end of the day, he's the highest paid athlete in the world. Illiteracy isn't somethin to poke fun of, IMO.

I want Floyd to retire because I'm tired of people like yourself and the ones on the other side of the extremist coin, that no matter who's being discussed, it always come back around to Pac or Floyd petty arguments, furious attacks and blind defenses.
When Floyd (And also Pac) retires, maybe, just maybe, there will be a decrease in ignorance hatred and animosity here at boxrec, and also an increase in actual discussion covering more than just 2 fighters.
If you'd paid even a moderate amount of attention during all of your furious Floyd defenses, you'd know that I've been called a Flomo here at Boxrec a hundred times, and a Floyd hater, just twice, by people like yourself, who rush to judgment either by sheer ignorance or by poor comprehension, when you see me say something less than positive.
For the record, and for about the thousandth time, I think Floyd is the best fighter in all of boxing.
But that doesn't mean I have to blindly defend him, or ignore the negatives regarding the cat.
That's for people like you to do. Fanboys.
So that's why I want him to retire- So certain people disappear from here, or pipe down, at least.

I've been following boxing for more than half of my life and follow a lot of fighters and am fan of a a lot of fighters. A hardcore Floyd fan I am and yes I defend him, ALOT based on the stupid shit that people continue to spew that isn't even true. You can have a opinion about someone, but when you're on a boxing forum and you begin to nag and be negative about him when it's not even boxing related, I have a problem with that.
So now based on other people hating him or being a huge fan of his, he should retire just for your pleasure because you think it will change something? I don't hate anyone and I personally feel the same way about the pactards as you do of me, but I at least in most cases keep it realistic and don't think of Floyd as some super hero figure lmao. I don't like Floyd as a person either, but I at least separate ones boxing career from all the personal stuff, that stuff doesn't mean shit to me.
I don't really have any beef with you.. But the fact that there is a thread titled "Floyd Mayweather can't read" when he obviously can is trolling at it's finest. And you're still a troll for posting on this thread simply to talk shit, that's just the reality of the situation.

It's not like other people don't do the same thing to fighters they don't like...I mean even someone as noble and impartial as you...

that's only a few words forming 2 short simple sentence.
i didn't know anyone was claiming he couldn't even read something like that, and after reading
it once who would need to read it again? who couldn't remember "hi, this is [insert your name].
watch me fight [opponent name] on [date]"? i'm not saying he can read or can't, but that isn't
proof of anything. proof would be the harry potter challenge. just pick a random page and tell
him to read. if floyd actually can't read, he could actually do a lot of good by going public with it
and overcoming that obstacle, but he would also be putting a target on his back so that is the
main reason why people keep it a secret. sonny liston was supposedly illiterate. when i was growing
up there was a guy who played like 10 years in the NFL (2 superbowls) who had graduated from
oklahoma state, dexter manley, who turned out to be illiterate. patrick ewing got into georgetown
university after graduating from an exam school in the boston area where the coach actually said
ewing needed "special tutoring" and at georgetown ewing wound up sitting in elementary school
classes with 3rd and 4th graders. that was back before the ncaa got strict about minimum standards.
i knew a few people from previous generations who were pretty good at math but never learned to
read in their own language and somehow just got by their whole adult lives in the usa with crude
conversational english and not being able to read a word. it would be humiliating, but floyd could
help a lot of people struggling with the same issues by overcoming it publicly as an example.

Isn't the proof that he can't read 50-cent editing a sound capture of him reading off of a teleprompter?
So I just gave you proof he can read, which makes the title of this thread complete garbage. And now there's actually much less proof that he can't read than that he can read. How's Floyd reading off a teleprompter in that video if he "can't read"? Can't means not being capable of something like a paraplegic not being able to walk.
I hope you can understand the difference. And who gives a shit if Floyd isn't a great reader? I can't believe how much people get off on this, it's fornicating sad.

why get so kyunty and emotional? i couldn't care whether he can read or not, but if a
guy with his name recognition can't read, it's a legit story. cry all you want. if a guy his age can't
read, it's notable. i have no idea yet if he can or can't, but it looks bad. i've passed several professional
license exams and somehow obtained 2 undergrad degrees, so typos and all i'll put my standardized
test scores up against yours, and as it is right now it isn't clear if floyd can read a random page out
of harry potter. where is the judgement there? i have no opinion about what him reading or not reading
says about him as a person and said nothing to that effect.
