It may not be impossible, but it is massively unlikely. Good win for Frampton but let's not get carried away, Martinez lost to Munroe twice.

It is of course possible. I didn't say it wasn't. I implied that the person envisaging it was probably high, based on the current state of affairs, because, though possible, it is highly improbable.

Riddle me this:

Has Rigo shown signs of slippage since outboxing the really fast devastating punching Donaire?

& also, Rigo would land a lot more punches with a lot more effect than a bloke who was beaten by Rendall Munroe.

He does come across well. So many similarities to Hatton in the way that he will appeal to a mass audience.

I think Frampton might be a more intelligent boxer than Donaire though to be fair. Also can box on the front foot aswell as the backfoot. He shows a bit more diversity than Donaire IMO.

Great fight. I liked that Kiko remained dangerous to the end, but Frampton too good.

Aye, intelligent maybe but his head's too static to talk about facing the sport's best counter-puncher, imo. The moment he got tired from bouncing in circles around Rigo his head would be in the third row.

Let him shut out Quigg (without a year where they both fight bantamweights to build the fight, please), & Rigo age a couple years & show some slippage, then I'll start entertaining the idea.

Ha, no I don't! I was just saying that if he did shut-out Quigg, then I'd be on the path to reconsidering my opinion on a Rigo-Frampton fight.

I think he'd beat Quigg, but I seriously doubt it'd be a rout.

There is little point going on about Rigo. they won't have Frampton go anywhere near him, for obvious reasons. he'd get beat, same as anyone. And that's no slight on Frampton.
