If he was so afraid of damage from Dawson explain why he got right back in the ring with him, got dominated and never "found a way out".ikorolev wrote:Hopkins is smart enough to find a way to quit and avoid damage like he did in Dawson 1 fight.Perseus wrote:I hope Hopkins doesn't get seriously hurt in this fight.
Lose a decision or get KO'd whatever happens as long as the old man doesn't suffer a serious injury at the hands of Kovalev tonight.
Boxing doesn't need it, sometimes bad things happen in this sport that's just the way it is but if something happens to BHop tonight there will be more than the usual amount of do-gooders jumping on the opportunity to take the next step towards shutting down the sport.
If he wins that's great, if he loses that's great too but just go out on a loss not a tragedy.
Anybody with an IQ greater than total dumbshit could see that Hopkins was trying to get the ref to take points from Dawson or get a DQ and it backfired on him when the ref just called the fight.
He didn't quit, he wasn't going to quit, he was playing his games but the ref wasn't having any of it and pulled the plug on him.
The old man was thrown to the canvas, there is indisputable video proof of that. He tried to take advantage of the foul, it didn't work and he ended up having to see Dawson a second time.
