Nort Beauchamp is fighting Aussie Kyle Teer on 29th August in Christchurch for the WBF Australasian lightweight title also the clown Brown buttabeans fight in invercargill is a corporate fight not pro fight. The rugby player he's fighting must be really poor not to get granted a pro boxing licence in NZ, it's harder to purchase a big Ben pie.

I spoke to both the NZPBA and Duco both of them say it is a pro bout
Thanks for telling me about Nort Beauchamps title fight

All good, I'm loving the fact you do such a great job with the schedule. Here's where I read the article about buttabeans being only a corporate bout.

Another change on Duco Event after the fact??

View this record:- http://boxrec.com/boxer/641663
Due to fair bit of weight difference, Jeremy withdrew from the fight. After the weigh-in, Duco's David Higgins got into his ear telling him whatever the result it won't be recorded 'cos it'll be classed exhibition bout, to which Jeremy agreed.

Unfortunately, this arrangement proved to be untrue. The bout wasn't announced as such, officiating body NZPBA wasn't aware that was anything bar pro-bout back on track and confirmed so on official results sent to me in next day or two.

Week later, you got no idea the bullshit that ended in my email box requesting I remove it from Boxrec. I discussed the matter with founder John and we decided to leave as recorded.
Unfortunately, this caused young Jeremy to walk away from the game. He's rock-star Guy Sebastian's brother.

Feel free to express your opinion on John's & my decision

Duco seem to be doing well with Joseph Parkers career (thus far) and seem to be pushing Aussie Jeff Horn along nicely, but most of there other input into NZ boxing is farcical.

Seen Dave Letele's fight against Richard Tutaki has been cancelled

"I wasn't allowed to fight august 21 due to 1 month stand down so this is my next fight on September 5 at the aba. He's been calling me our for so long so I thought I'd give him a chance . I'll be posting more details very soon. Just building back up for my rematch against Kaleni . It's a massive card with some super stars like Izzy , blood diamond and even dj reminise!" - from Buttabean's FB page.

Says he's fighting Gavin Vino Somers at the ABA in Auckland on September 5.

Im waiting to chat with the promoter first because the decision has not actually been made on if the event is canceled or just postponed

It was a pretty heavy knockout... What's the appropriate stand down? 30 days?
