He hit him after the bell as well as when he was down and he's done that before as well.

He's fighting a guy that he's much bigger and better than and he's treating him with contempt. It's bullying and it is very unpleasant. There was absolutely no need for it.

Yes. The problem with the card was the low level of the fights rather than the lack of competitiveness.

when i watched the AJ Doc it mentioned that he was bit of bad apple growing up, tonight i saw a bit of that, side. I did not enjoy his latest venture, someone needs to sit him down and nip that cr*p in the bud.

The card surprised me though I didnt think much of it at first but i actually enjoyed it in the end.

That was Tommy Gilmour not the Doctor. Jamie was done good call by the corner. Jamie only had 3 weeks from his fight will learn a lot from that one

Can you elaborate? I watched the fight on mute so I didn't catch mention of that and I didn't read about it prior to the fight.

His performance vs Camacho was the blueprint for JLD to winning this fight.

JLD jab won him most of those early rounds with Simmons just walking onto it constantly.

Simmons just seems to have one gameplan and its come forward and not much else.

Boxers need a nasty streak if they are to be successful, however I do believe the old cliche that bullies can dish it out but often can't take it back.

Look at Audley - brilliant in Prizefighter against boxers he knows he can beat, but then turns his back whenever a higher level boxer punches back.

I am not saying Joshua will be the same, but it will be interesting to see how he reacts when finally matched with a live opponent.

This thing isn't that common because most fighters try not to cheat. They can get a point taken off or thrown out.

Joshua has done this before and he pretended he did nothing wrong then as well. It is unusual behaviour and far from run-of-the-mill. Joshua seems to have a real attitude problem.

Hopefully Johnson can teach Joshua a lesson and humble him.

Harrison had a rubbish chin, but he still faced some of the biggest punchers in the division: Williams, Haye, Price & Wilder.

Harrison should have avoided punchers like the plague, but he didn't. He was too brave for his own good.

No one else think Barrington Brown's KD of Stephen Smith last night was legit and should have been scored as such?, and it was a heavy shot which hurt Smith ,we only got shown 4 of the 6 rounds but Swifty wasn't at the races and got tagged with heavy shots throughout

Brown showed some skills

It wasn't what aj did per say, it was more about his reaction to what he did that I didn't like.

Also if he appears to become frustrated with these sorts of fights how do your think he might react to someone who is live and actually hits back. .

It must be pretty frustrating beating old nobody's, then getting slated for it, as if he, doesn't know what type of opponent they are, he's just doing his job knocking these bums over as this is the so-called way of doing things in the pro game, most of the time. When he does step up, the little things people are slagging him off now for will be needed, as you need that nasty streak it's boxing not dominoes.

Why doesn't he know what types of fighter they are? Hasn't he watched footage of them?

He's a nasty thug. I wouldn't be surprised if he ruins his career Ike Ibeabuchi style.

Joshua needs to step up, fighting guys like Gavern who wrestle and maul and don't hit back lead to bad habits. He only needs to look at David Price to get a lesson in what can happen.

Was surprised to see Travis Dickinson lost in the first round. What happened? Was it a premature stoppage or was he sparked/caught cold etc???? Am intrigued as has always appeared to be a very tough fighter in the bouts i've seen him in.

I thought so.

Shows how pointless these 6 round fights are for established fighters. That cut was nasty and will take a while to heal.
