Does anyone remember the Bowen brothers? Paul and Michael. I think they are related to Benn/Ince, Benn definitely.

Paul seemed to have the better career but it just kinda fizzled out. I think they both had hand problems and ended up retiring, not sure why or if that was the sole reason.

From memory, Tommy went into the demolition business and made a small fortune. John Hyland married his daughter.

There's a very good documentary about this called (I think) Assault In The Ring. Includes interviews with (mainly) Luis Resto, his family and also lots of other people in the game back then. I think they tried to get Collins father on but he refused to talk. Panama Lewis was confronted by Resto, possibly staged, but he showed little remorse for what he allegedly did. I watched this around the time that Tony Margarito was caught trying to use illegal wraps against Mosley because it became a big issue again. There were a lot of conspiracy theories and rumours flying around at that time regarding other possible fighters doing or having done the same.

I saw that and it was incredibly sad and frustrating. I never felt anything for Resto, as I think the makers tried to make him seem some sort of victim. Resto knew exactly what was going on. Panama Lewis is the real killer here. He of the famous "brown Bottle" that Aaron Pryor drank out of during his fight with Arguello. These kinds of antics are so very dangerous and criminal. Sorry...this story always gets the best of me.
