I wouldn't have bet my house on it,but i was within the 4% who got it right though.

Fair play to you for picking him, I wanted him to and was glad he did but I couldn't see it. I'm struggling to believe how easy he made it look. I hope he gets better, he'll make an interesting champ.bigjack wrote:I wouldn't have bet my house on it,but i was within the 4% who got it right though.
Thought people would have learned after David Price but apparently not.SNG wrote:Well put. Some people get on those hype trains at the first stop.expe wrote:eff off, you sound like a effing casual. Tyson goes out to Germany and beats a great champion to become Heavyweight champion of the World and all you can talk about is a fighter that hasn't even won the British title yet or fought someone that can punch back.AGM wrote:Joshua KOs them both
Well I bow to your superior knowledge & sincerely hope you made a fortune betting on your very confident predictionbigjack wrote:Boxerbeetle wrote:Jesus, no way should Fury even attempt to box southpaw against Wlad, he'll be demolished by overhand rights within a few rounds if he does.bigjack wrote:All logic points towards Wlad knocking him out easily but i just have a funny feeling about this one,Tyson actually believes he can win and will be a real handful while it lasts,i have been impressed with tyson when he boxes southpaw and i'm wondering would that cause wlad problems if he stuck with it and didn't get careless ? i'm excited about this one though, the only other time i was up for a wlad fight was povetkin, but i think he was just too short, would love fury to win this so i'm letting my heart rule and have voted for fury on points.
Really ?

Wlad got old. Happens to them all.JimJim2009 wrote:Well, ultimately, we'll see on the night. I recently watched fury's rematch with chisora again, with the sound off, and was struck by how safety first he really is. He took no risks at all in that fight, and he didn't really exert himself that much either. For all the talk and hype, I think fury won't take many chances against wlad in the first half of the fight and if he can enter the second half of the contest unscathed, I think a combination of his natural size advantages and wlad's advanced years might start to tell. I could be totally wrong but I think a combination of the best ever Tyson fury and a wlad in decline could make for an interesting night. In terms of signs of wlad's decline i thought I saw subtle signs in his previous two fights but ultimately he was still too big for both opponents. And too good for them too, obviously. Personally speaking I don't really rate wlad but I think he has done an amazing job of fighting to his natural strengths and avoiding taking clean punches. Credit to him for what he has done but they don't go on forever. Talk of fury not punching hard enough to trouble wlad is laughable, wlad gets thorough entire fights without being hit clean once. We know what happens when he takes one clean. He is hardly jake Lamotta. I accept that wlad is very very good, fury certainly does make mistakes that could give wlad a clean shot to finish the fight in devastating fashion. I hope the fight gets to the half way stage, for me that is when it could get really interesting.freddydoesdallas wrote:Wlad will have to decline a hell of a lot to go down to the level of fury. What has fury done to suggest he can beat Wlad? What weakness has wlad shown recently to suggest he has declined enough to give fury a significant chance?JimJim2009 wrote:What I am not seeing much of in this thread is the distinct possibility that wlad goes to the well this time and finds it has run dry. He is old and has a lot of miles on the clock. A prime wlad beats a prime Tyson fury but wlad may be on the decline and we only find out on fight night. I think there is a fair chance of this happening, and of the decline really starting to count once the fight has gone past the first few rounds. Tyson might just find himself in the right place at the right time.
My answer to both is nothing
