Did I Miss Something?

I've been really busy lately, so.... did I miss something that Tyson Fury is openly homophobic? Or was it his dad? This is probably old news, so apologies if it is.

lol at the responses in this thread. it was not an enjoyable fight at all, it was 2 lumps evading each other and hugging whenever they got close.

These press articles are written for the average person who probably skims the boxing articles anyway. Getting all annoyed because they didnt appreciate the 'sweet science' is absolutely comedy gold.

Probably just trouble causers, or gypsy haters.

In an interview he said homosexuality was on a level with Peadophilia.

What individuals? Pat Clinton and Paul Weir? Those all time greats.... Anyways whatever, what a silly Scots turd, maybe he thinks Gary Cornish or all the other super Scottish heavyweights would do better.....
Neither of they 2. How many you trained? What's your ring record like?

Thing is, Tyson showed more charisma in the 3 minutes of his post-fight interview than Klitschko has in the last decade.

Hope David Price is back in the gym. I'd love him to get in the mix.

If that article is true, then he's bang out of order.

Not again....

He made one comment, which people have taken and run with and said he has compared the two. His mistake was giving an interview to the bloody Daily Mail in the first place.

His comment was something along the lines of "in order for the devil to appear, three things have to be made legal; abortion, homosexuality and paedophilia. Who would have thought those first two would have been legalised in the 1950's?" he then produced a BBC news article that linked paedophilia with the repealing of a gay rights act.

At no point did he 'compare' the two, or say explicitly that homosexuality was evil/wrong.

He's a devout Christian, so certain views, such as homosexuality being 'wrong' will be, presumably, engrained in him. That's part of being a Christian - other devout Christian celebs/sports stars don't get the same sort of bashing as Tyson does, but then they aren't 'pikeys' and easy targets...

You get the press you deserve, and we have an absolute gutter press in this country.

In the mix for what? Fury would dance rings around him, and knock Price out cold whenever he wanted.

Why has this thread been merged? It's about two different articles in two different papers?

I love his fights.

Champs often take an easy defence as a pension plan. There's bad blood. I'd love to see David earn well.

Great patter, highly original. It's funny how the only time I have ever had anyone have the bottle to make anti-Scottish jibes towards me is on internet boxing forums, strange when I spend at least 3 months of he year working in England.....brave behind the safety of a keyboard
