And those with a vested interest, sponsorship deals, and really small balls have been saying it in hushed tones behind closed doors in the way everybody is racist and homophobic when you're among your closest friends since day dot. It is a massive shame but hopefully this doesn't put people off wanting to attend an Irish fight night or fighters from wanting to fight over there. I'm sure it will be fine. Two small crumbs of comfort to be taken might be this being the final nail in the mgm coffin and of course the scumbag who died.

I wouldn't go anywhere near any MGM shows, but I wouldn't have a problem with other promoters. MGM are the issue here, not Irish boxing as a whole.

It's not a boxing issue. I doubt Macklin is involved in the murders, drugs or arms deals. The boxing just enables the other team to know exactly where the targets will be at certain times.
