I find it totally impossible to tell because AJ's biggest test was Whyte and even an old wlad is still a lot better than him.

Just because Pulev is 'ranked', doesn't mean he'll do any better than those guys.
No, because he's better he will.
Face first chin in the air does really well vs Joshua.

It's not out of the question that AJ KOs Wlad but I'd favour Wlad strongly. Even at 40/41 and past his best he's still a few levels above anyone AJ has fought. AJ might be a world belt holder but he's still learning and Wlad has bags of experience and good power.

Mind you I thought Wlad would outbox Fury so wtf do I know

Twitter is pretty bad for boxing.

It's good for round by round but otherwise it's boring as eff and loaded with trolling / casuals.

one of Hearns latest IFL interviews he basically said it would happen if it was for all the belts

obv that's not going to happen

he isn't going to risk his golden goose... & rightly so, its a business

Hope AJ gets sparked quickly. Put an end to the hype train.

I fear the Wlad talk is a smokescreen for Fast Eddie to show us he tried his darnedest to get him but it wasn't possible and 'it'll have to wait till 2017'. And AJ faces Price or Briggs in November.

Am I the only one who isn't seeing this?

All Eddie has done is go; "Waaah! Joshua isn't ready", and we're acting like the fight is a foregone conclusion.

I'm certainly not seeing it like that.

What are you on about?

I hope I'm wrong but I've a feeling it's going to be someone like Stiverne. Decent(ish) opponent but after all the talk of Wlad/Parker/Pulev etc I'd be disappointed if that were the case.

According to the IBF Chairman he hasn't even heard from Hearn :

“First of all, we have not heard from Eddie Hearn regarding Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko” - IBF Chairman Lindsey Tucker.

Got to hand it to Hearn though, he knows how to get headlines for his fighters and that is a big part of being a good promoter.

Without doubt ,, credit where its due , if i was a fighter looking for a promoter Eddie would be the man to go to ,, I think the main thing is make sure he likes you , he certainly seems to enjoy his boxing more than others ,, it could be a age thing , bit younger more to it for him than money alone

It's going to be Price ain't it?

Shocking if so.

We seemed so close to getting something resembling proper championship level fights. Instead we are going to be left with a series of highly rated heavyweights against domestic, borderline continental level fighters.

I'll lose faith in the division big time if we see Wlad/Browne, Parker/Ruiz, Joshua/Price up next. The three 'opponenets' there should all be fighting each other to earn the right to even enter discussions for title fights.

It better not be price! I can see Hearn saying that he tried to get Wlad but couldn't make the deal in time and it was too soon for Parker after his fight last night.

Well he should put the fight on another date! The idea that we should pay to watch a complete and utter mismatch because it had to fit in with some artificially imposed date to suit a corporation is a farce.

We are being absolutely fleeced. Pulev, Parker, Wilder, Wlad, Parker, Pvotkin or Ortiz. Nothing else is acceptable. If he can't get them for that date then:
1. Make it another date
2. Put on a substandard opponent on regular sky.
