Harrison had an aura about him that could silence a room. Even on his comeback fight in the Kelvinhall there was a weird feeling about the place as he made his way to the ring. No doubt a troubled man but a hard hard fvcker.

What he could do with a big bag of crisps doesn't bear repeating

He's lost it.
On his A-game though he's still the best heavy out there.

This is the trouble - people always take Tyson's words/actions at face value. Surely it's clear by now that a lot of what he says and does is not actually reflective of what he is really thinking/feeling?

If he has falsely claimed depression, then yes, he should be heavily criticised.Ricky_ wrote:
bang on. Falsely claiming "depression" as a smoke screen is repulsive. The should send Fury to support groups for families such as Gary Speeds widow and Children, I'm sure it would go down well when he says he's depressed because the tabloids didn't sing his praises enough. The guy is scum imo.
As that would be a despicable act, particularly if he has done so to deflect attention for his own wrong doing.
But it would be a bold person that claims they know, for absolute certainty, that Tyson Fury has falsely claimed anything.
First off, it's fair to say that Tyson Fury has displayed tell tale signs of a mental disorder in the past and it wouldn't come as a massive shock if he had suffered some form of depression or bipolar disorder. I'm no expert but it's something that the wider public have noted in the past.
It is not as simple as saying "he's depressed because the tabloids didn't sing his praises enough", depression does not need an excuse.
I have personal experience of this (not personally but a loved one).
Depression is an illness, youi don't need an excuse to have the flu, it just happens.
It doesn't necessarily require a reason and can happen to people, who lead what many would consider a happy and fulfilling life. Yes some issues may trigger it and the combination of the stress of his new found fame and the perceived lack of respect may be enough to trigger it in Tyson, he seems a fragile personality. But those will not be the "reasons" he would be suffering from it, it would be an underlying medical condition. Those I've spoken to that suffer from depression tell me, it just hits you, you are having a perfectly good day, there is no reason for it, it just happens. And they find themselves asking why?
I'm not saying he has depression, I don't know, he may be full of shit. But i'd be making sure I was 100% certain before I went online to criticise someone with a claim of mental health issues, as it's no fornicating joke, I can assure you.

Nasty man, nasty family. Horrible role model for kids. I think he should be stripped of his titles and Klitscho and Joshua should fight for one of them. A big man like he is running away from Klitscho but scoring with jabs was no way to become champion. It wouldn't bother me if he quits boxing altogether. He isn't undefeated anyway, he clearly lost in his first fight with John McD but was given the decision by that Brummie ref whose name escapes me..

Tyson's still top of the gram for gram rankings though ......

Also that fight is the reason that English title fights now have 3 judges.WildWaylon wrote:Nasty man, nasty family. Horrible role model for kids. It's all well and good laughing at Tyson but from personal experience I can tell you it isn't funny. I used to have a pet duck who got hooked on drugs, it all started out as a bit of fun but in no time at all he became a proper quack head. ![[icon_neutral.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)

No one will buy tickets for a Fury fight after the farce for this year.TheGoods wrote:No need to be implicating Peter Fury in all this. A man who as far as I can see has turned his own life full circle. Made mistakes and paid his dues in full. Now a genuine source of good in his community for young people. I feel for Fury getting caught for whiff while heavyweight champion of the world will cost him £20million.
However if you think he won't come back from this you are crazy. Controversy sells and his personality is such that he will be a big draw WHEN he returns.
And return he shall. This is no feather duster man.
No one knows what he'll get up to including his own team it seems.
Re: Tyson Fury failed drug test allegedly Cocaine
This whole Fury saga is far far from over as well.
