Being that you're on an internet boxing forum where nobody really knows anything much about the opponent, I'd say it was as foregone a conclusion that it could be in a boxing match.
I mean, there's always the chance that Quinlan gets a lucky punch in and knocks him out, or that Eubank takes him too lightly and gets hit whilst posing around, but I don't see it somehow.
After Team Eubank wet themselves when offered a GGG contract, and pulled out of the Tommy Langford fight, they've deliberately found somebody who is as risk free as possible. Especially being that he's on a new PPV platform.
Quinlan isn't being brought in because he's a dangerous opponent, is he?
Wont go 3 rounds. Easy money infact Eubank is printing the stuff.

No he isn't but he might be better than Doran or even Langford who he was supposed to face, the fact is without the PPV angle, this might have been an interesting fight

We all know this is just an appetiser for the biggest PPV event of 2017: Junior vs the winner of Ryder/Etches.

Quinlan is being painted as a total no hoper, despite beating Geale in his last fight (shot though Daniel is.)
Is he really a 100-1 outsider as some bookies have it? Has anyone seen any of his fights?

He's not a 100-1 outsider though.

Eubank is 1/100 from what I have seen.

True, he's 16-1, but Eubank is 100-1 on

I don't know if this is a sign of how badly PPV sales are going or a final push to make the fight as accessible as possible. Vue Cinema are showing the whole PPV card:
https://www.myvue.com/cinema/edinburgh- ... nlan/times
Could be a fun experience but tickets are £15.99! Also it's only being shown in about 12 venues.
Also noticed on Twitter today around 5pm 83 pubs Tweeted the exact same message at the exact same time:
"Watch IBO Super-Middleweight Title Fight Eubank vs Quinlan, LIVE HERE on ITV, Pay Per View on Saturday Night. #EubankQuinlan"
They've certainly done some kind of deal with the Hogarths pub chain. SKY are handling the commercial sales for this event.
I've not been able to find any info on how much it costs for commercial premises to show the fight. I found this article from 2 years ago regarding the cost of pubs showing Froch Vs. Groves II:
https://www.matchpint.co.uk/sports-blog ... licans-583
"The fight is being shown exclusively on Sky Box Office with an early bird offer running till the 22nd which will see publicans pick up the rights to broadcast the bout for £195 ex VAT (€195 ex VAT in ROI), compared to the normal price of £250 ex VAT (€195 ex VAT in ROI)."
There's no way this is the price being charged to pubs for Eubank Vs. Quinlan. SKY also do the sales for B0xnati0n to commercial premises at a rate of around £55.00 per month. I can't see Eubank Vs. Quinlan going for much more than that.
The more pubs that show it the better. It'll be a fairly modest revenue stream which will pull in a lot of the casual fans driving down the number of home PPV buys.

I've got to be honest, i've not seen one advert or even a segment for this fight at all. The only place i've seen anything on it is in this thread.
Nobody is contacting me about the fight (might say more about me

) like they do for a normal ppv fight or even a fight that has their interest.
Are ITV pushing it at all?

There have been a few adverts for this on ITV. Somebody at work even mentioned it to me.
Not that he's going to watch it, he just mentioned it conversationally. (And didn't understand what I meant when I said ITV PPV.)
But there have been adverts there.

It's been all over daytime ITV. I always seem to end up watching Tipping Point in the afternoon and there has been an advert for it every day for the past two weeks at least.

Ah right, i'm clearly not watching ITV as much as i thought. I've asked a few people i work with and they had no idea what i was talking about

Walked past the weigh in today in Westfields.
I thought this show would bomb but have to say whilst it might not sell out I expect it will be at least 3/4 fullcome the main event and i think it will do over 100k buys which I expect (and I'm no promoter) will make everyone a few quid.

There won't be many spare seats in the arena - if only to accommodate officials from each of the sanctioning bodies with title fights on the card.

That's a good point mate
What have we got so far? IBO, IBF and now WBO with Pricey's fight being (dare I say?) 'upgraded'
Ed Levine's enjoying being centre of attention for a change.

Don't forget the WBC (Selby)!

So who's buying it then? I'm not paying and I usually buy most PPVs on Sky bar the really offensively shite ones.
