Yeah Hammer looks confident- Price looks nervy. I see a very safe and reticent performance by Price whatever happens. He looks like his confidence is gone. Hammer looks a lot shorter though

Sad to say I reckon Price is done at top level.

Price does look uneasy there.

Weigh-in body language is often misleading, but Price has a history of carrying his nerves over to his performances. The massive height difference would be more significant to me if it weren't for this:

If he gets done by Hammer then it's back to the plumbing. Hammer has every chance here, we all know that by now - I wouldn't like to predict it either way cos you just don't know any more with Price, he could go at a moment's notice and he boxes like he knows that fact.

Along with the glass chin pricey has a real problem with stamina which is why I never enjoy watching him fight.
That's a very bad mix indeed.
The sight of him gassed and cowering from Thompson still chills the blood.

Hammer's weight could be an issue too. I was looking over his record and noticed that this (264) is his career-high among what's listed. At 259 he was able to outlast Erkan Teper, but the extra mass could make it harder for him to take advantage of Price gassing.

Interesting point. This is the first real test for Price since he's been with Dave Coldwell, as much as his chin is suspect if Price boxes to a plan, like Coldwell's boxers have demonstrated in previous fights, this could be a walk in the park for him.

Tyson Fury toyed with Christian Hammer, looked levels above, Price could easily do the same and even stop him earlier. But, as we all know, it's never that easy with him.

When they bumped fists at the end I was expecting Price to start holding on.

If Hammer fights with any kind of ambition, Price will get beat.

Price has to stop Hammer in the first 4 or Hammer will take a decision or stop him late...

I was going to say 2 - as long as Hammer doesn't walk on to a mega shot early doors then I don't think that Price has the the mental stamina to go beyond 4 with a live opponent.

I've got a double on Ryder and Hammer to win. To get 4.95 on that double is far too good value to turn down I think.

What time does this one start do we think? Going down the bookies to put a large wedge on Hammer stoppage 1-6 and Hammer stoppage.

This. I've always been hoping price would do well and I've never changed my name on here. I backed him to beat Thompson twice and still thought he'd beat teper.

If he wins, great as he seems a good guy. He'll get a title shot and earn some big money. Realistically, I can't see him dealing with being hit again.

Same. Although for the record, I stand by my pick that Price would have ko'd Fury if they had met when they were supposed to. Fury ducked that fight with good reason. Obviously he's since improved loads and Price got found out by Thompson, but I still think Price would have ko'd Fury at that point in their respective careers.
