Paul Smith surely must feel some sort of shame for this

I know he holds himself in higher regard than what he is but come on..

Mans a crackpot if he can walk around proud about this fight

I think in Paul's mind, anyone who criticizes him or his fights is just a loser who has never boxed

His block button is surely ultra active these days!

Yea I've seen him throw that old chestnut out a few times

Imo if your a pro boxer unless someone is trolling you to the point where they are saying sick things about your family etc then you shouldn't get aggravated with the general public on Twitter ffs

The fact he gets angry with anyone that disagrees with him or who doesn't like him as a boxer proves he knows he is garbage :OhYes:

He's blocked me on Twitter & I have never followed the fool in my life!

With a bitta luck Zeuge will muller him

You could easily pick 10 SMWs in Britain alone that would chin Paul Smith!
Not necessarily chin him but I reckon the following would beat him from boxrec rankings

1) George Groves
2) James Degale
3) Eubank Jr
4) Callum Smith
5) David Brophy
6) Rocky Fielding
7) John Ryder
8) Jamie Cox
9) Luke Blackledge
10) Darryll Williams
Smyle who lost to Williams I would fancy as well.

Even someone untested like Mark Heffron ( massive puncher btw) I would fancy to beat Paul Smith now.

He even got lucky to beat Quigley for the British title years ago and in his prime got schooled by a 9 fight James Degale.
I don't know much about Heffron, just had a look at his record and seen several really long stretches without fights. Any idea why he's been so inactive?
bigjack wrote:I must admit i don't know anything about the opponent but i have a horrible feeling Smith may win this one.As for title fights,if you add Groves,Murray and Smith together it comes to 9 chances so far,11 with upcoming fights, shocking, truly shocking state of affairs :verysad:
At least Groves beats decent opposition in between his world title shots to be fair.

He's in it. He has knowledge on itv, too. Expect him on Corrie if he doesn't win a belt.

Not Smith's fault but to think some of my favourite fighters never got 1 opportunity to fight for one of the big 4 versions. Fighters like:

Jamie Moore
Spencer Oliver
Colin Dunne
Shea Neary
Kirkland Laing

You can argue varying reasons why any of these didn't get their shot, but in hindsight it must have been that they didn't beat enough Latvians in 6 rounders.

Could the OP change the title to 'Paul Smith world title' not 'word title'?

It's been rattling my OCD and bugging me for months!

What did Glen say to Paul?

He called all Welsh people are dogs at the Manchester arena last month. Then said he only said it because a women who he presumed to be Welsh made a rude gesture at him.

He's a absolute idiot. Presume this is 'regular' title and Groves-Chudinov full title. Both absolute obliterate smigga.

Glen tweeted "in my day we earned title shots"

Although I think he said something before that but I think that tweet was deleted

Everything he said was correct tho

Then divvy Smith had the cheek to say "I expected more from you tbh glen mate" like he's some sorta respectable sensible talking man

Can't stick him

Paul is very upset that Welsh people are talking to him after Lee Selby beat his brother. Smith said it was Fwank's fault Stephen got chinned. He's thinking about starting a campaign about it.

To be fair, McCrory wasn't the best person to make the comment - he won a vacant world title against an opponent who was 8-2 and earned his shot by beating domestic opposition Lou Gent and Tee Jay.

McCrory didn't trailblaze his way to a title shot no but he earnt one in better fashion than Smith has
