Perhaps it will be a rematch in the classic tradition of Paq/ Bradley or Hearns/ Leonard or even (dare I even say it) Ali/ Foreman?

The very same. He was supposed to be fighting for the "IBF East/West Up/Down Left-Right A-B X-Y Triangle Square Select Hold Down Start Button Junior Intercontinental Upper North Region Silver Diamond Belt" that night but it fell through. Really hope we get to see that fight on this card.

He had a better win over Rick Godding only a couple months before.
Yeah, I was only being sarcastic. And I didn't mean any ill intent towards him. My gripe is the undercard needs to be A1 or there could be problems with this even going ahead. You would have to have a lot of faith in a Fury and a Wawwan to think otherwise.

The undercard is pretty poor tbh. There is no one on that card im interested in and I cannot see many 'fans' being in the arena before the main event. I doubt very much I will be in the arena before 9pm. hopefully the main event will be on at 10 so we can get the train back to leeds before 11-30.
Hughie is 'Rocky' training in Windemere in Cumbria, pulling tyres and chopping wood. Is this old school way of training the future?
I'm not excited about this one bit and really hope the bill folds but I cannot see it happening now. I bet the atmosphere will be shite and all the fights will be cack too.
Might get into Victoria's in Manc after the fight.

To be honest I rushed to buy tickets when it was said Tyson was making his comeback on the card. Foolishly I bought tickets as I thought if he was on it would sell out. When Tyson decided he wasnt on I wasnt that bothered about going. I'm not a Fury fan but would have liked to see his comeback fight as ive never seen Fury fight live.

Even if Tyson was fighting it wouldn't sell out. He wasn't close to selling out the arena for Wlad. He's not going to do any better against a comeback plodder.

But do either of these undercard fights look decent?
Shayne Singleton (23-2-1, 8 KOs) facing Peter McDonagh (27-28-1, 3 KOs) at welterweight while Joe Murray (21-2, 9 KOs) takes on Matty Fagan (11-2) in a British Lightweight title eliminator.
Being a Parker fight and living in Godsown I'm going to have to pay to see this....

Murray-Fagan was gonna be at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, so guess it got moved here. It's an ample headliner for a small hall show. And has local interest.
Singleton and McDonagh I've no interest in.

Just checked the men websiteand chart map for tickets sold. It's not looking good so far. 600 for ringside tickets and not one sold. But expensive. I'm no accountant but this event will not make money. Hope it odd ahead as I think hughie will win. Eddie hearn is such a better promoter than Hennessey it's not even funny

Hughie Fury is not an easy man to promote, more so against a virtual unknown to the wider public like Parker. He did a bit of radio stuff with Mick Costello and it was borderline embarrassing. Like Phil Neville at the world cup.

The whole card is shite. Its going to be a borefest and thats for sure. I will sit and watch the main event but most likely go to Victoria's to get some excitement.

They simply should have never made a deal with Daffy Duck.
They should have put Tyson Fury in with someone like Tyrone Spong for example.

It's increasingly difficult to be optimistic for sure.
I want to see Huey Parker, but the undercard needed to be really decent, and it isn't. No offence to the guys on the undercard, but one or two domestic top level fights would have sold it.

The promotor has hardly any fighters and no TV contract - was always a dead duck.

Lot's of advertising for this appearing round Manchester right now.
Quite fancy the fight tbh. How does promoters giving free tickets for undersold shows work? Do they just give them a randomers passing the arena?
