Sorry what has Tyson Fury got to do with what AJ allegedly sent to Chambers?mickey1975 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 15:30And if you look at Tysons team, they are all races and cultures, including Chambers!Controversial wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 14:39 I think some of you guys are off target with this being a black and white thing, I don't see it like that at all. AJ is of Nigerian descent, he has a map of Africa tattooed on him and if you look at AJ's team all the black guys are of African descent judging by their surnames. There has always been a divide between Africans and people from the Caribbean and this is what I think is meant by "superior black race", i.e. Africans are superior to other black people.
They do with fury believe me. The fury fans when he said stuff about homo’s went on about Christian beliefs etcOiky wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 15:22Controversial wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 14:39 I think some of you guys are off target with this being a black and white thing, I don't see it like that at all. See how b/c it's Joshua it's not a black or white thing or not this or not that
If Tyson had said that no one would go into detail as to why or what his reason was for saying it is the point
Joshua has come out with this sh*t and people are starting to give out history lessons as to why he said it
You are all kidding yourselves if you think fury would get away with the same, in whatever way he said or meant it![]()
Classic example of the fury club. This post mentions nothing of fury, but here you gomickey1975 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 15:30And if you look at Tysons team, they are all races and cultures, including Chambers!Controversial wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 14:39 I think some of you guys are off target with this being a black and white thing, I don't see it like that at all. Yeah this shouldn't be about any whataboutery. Fury's comments were out of order and so was Joshua's.Ossyrules wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 16:01Classic example of the fury club. Judge the situation for what it is
Is Tyson not allowed to have Christian beliefs? Believe me, Nigerians do.Ossyrules wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 15:59They do with fury believe me. Joshua has dm’d chambers with a racial remark and Joshua fans say there bit
The only hypocritical thing is the fans of either, and you’re clearly in camp fury, trying give the other side a hard time
The only thing I’ll say in Joshua’s favour is his repuatation and conduct buys him some time before the daggers come out
Whenever I hear that line I think of this episode of the West Wingmickey1975 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 16:40

The only thing I’ve seen about it is in the Star and they word it in a way where they take a pop at Fury for pulling Joshua up on his racist remark! Couldn’t make it up.![]()
Bottom line is, if Fury said ‘superior white race’ he’d be destroyed ( again )
I like both fighters but absolutely want Fury back to beat him just to see the reaction in the media.

Even Eddie Hearn has alluded to their being more to Joshua than is generally seen hin his very PR based interviews. Over the last few months I think Joshua has actually been encouraged to let loose a little bit, to show a bit more of himself....
At the end of the day AJ is a guy that clearly 'enjoys' hurting and brutally knocking people out. He's obviously got a nasty, arrogant side, we've seen glimpses of it in his interviews with Kugan when a question hasn't sat right with him. His halo has certainly slipped....but in truth it was never there to begin with! Get on the wrong side of Joshua and he'd be eager to smash your face in at the drop of a hat make no mistake.
Is Joshua a proper hard core racist at heart? Probably not, in fact I very much doubt it....it was more just a crass way of trying to insult a fellow black man with an ugly racial remark. But it certainly shows an uglier side to his character and to his mindset. And its true if Tyson Fury....or for that matter any other white fighter had come out with something like that, then they'd be absolutely lambasted for it.
Wow. Great summary. Historically and physically, I guess the Scandinavians?
How long was he "schooled" in Nigeria for, Mickey?mickey1975 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 13:27 I'd be very interested to hear Josh's real views on gays. They are not tolerated in Nigeria where he was schooled and considers himself from.
I think the difference here is the comment wasn't directed to a white person, it's one black guy saying it to another black guy. To be fair if any white person said this to someone of colour then they would be lambasted for it, Fury wouldn't be alone there. I also think AJ would be in more trouble if he said it to a white person.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2017, 18:04 What pisses people off is the double standards.
