i'd still favour Usyk but Gassiev is the real, real deal with his punch and offensive in general, body punches, but also great defence, Dorticos landed lot on gloves, lots of punches were also semi-blocked

Dorticos was in it early on. Heart and chin on display by both men.

man i like gassiev a lot. he showed dimensions today and was outboxing a pretty good tall fighter, whereras previously hed just been walking down smaller guys. iron chin too.

Defentiley should have been stopped earlier Dort was tough as hell but took alot of leather through out the fight, his corner should have thrown towel earlier thats how people get seriously hurt letting go too long and also shortening careers.

Based on this performance I rate Gassiev higher than Briedis so at the very least I anticipate final to be a closer fight. But I fancy Gassiev tbh.

murats clearly not as tall as his listed 6'3.5". dorticos was listed as half an inch shorter but in pretty much all the photos is a bit taller.

id say murats probably 6'2, maybe a tad over

i rather bet that Gassiev is his 6'3.5" but Dorticos and Usyk are both taller than listed, but it's hard to say, always wonder why this is always such a mystery, not a big problem to just measure them properly, i would like if every world title fight participant is oficially measured (both height and reach)

Seemed only a matter of time before a tight hook got the job done. Perfect setup. Dorticos was out of it for the last half of the fight.

Gassiev is underraated but Usyk will box rings around him. Usyk is that good.

Gassiev is the best compact puncher in the sport. Efficient technique, power and strength with the explosiveness.

Really? Eh, Dorticos was just too damn basic. Briedis losing razor close to Usyk was a better performance than Gassiev winning razor close to Lebedev and beating a dude like Dorticos.

I still rate Briedis higher than Gassiev. If I did a ranking for now, I'd say:
