Ahaha my brother was more accomplished than me in the amatuers so overall we have loads of hardware! It didn't fit in any rooms so it's stored in our basement. In the amatuers it's kind of like 'what do I do with this belt or trophy' after winning it LOL

Interestingly 6-0 pro Luis Arcon is fighting in the Pan Am Qualifiers in Nicaragua where he lost yesterday to future superstar (?) Keyshawn Davis, USA. Unless Davis loses his next match, Arcon will qualify for the Pan Am Games i Lima, Peru this summer.

Looks like Arcon is one of the pros taking advantage of the ability of pro boxers to compete in the Olympics. I have noticed one other guy on this list who has competed as an amateur after he turned pro.

Uzbek top prospects Israil Madrimov, Sanjar Tursunov and Bakhodir Jalolov, who all are pros in the US, are currently boxing at the Asian Championships in Bangkok.

Thanks for the heads up. All 3 are very good pro prospects and I wouldnt be surprised if any of the 3 would win medals at the 2020 Olympics in Japan if they go that route.

Yusuke Mine will make his pro debut on July 26th

An excerpt from the Asianboxing introducing piece

"He ran up a very impressive 51-12 (10) record. In 2014 he came runner up in the Japanese Interschool Athletic Meet at 49KG's, it's worth noting that just 7KG's north Hinata Maruta also came runner up. The following year he went all the way to the gold medal of a International Invitational Tournament in Taipei,"

He's signed with the Mutoh gym who have pegged him as their next star and likened him him to Nobuo Nashiro.
