It is obviously a thing but he stood 12 really hard rounds v Maidana and got a great win. One of the best away wins by a British fighter in the last decade.

Khan has a paper chin, but incredible powers of recovery. The amount of times non-punchers have him going it MUST be a bad chin, but his heart and fitness get him back in the fight.

Also, I realised just how much I missed watching Amir Khan fights. Unless he's fighting someone who won't/can't come forward (step forward, Devon Alexander—or rather, don't. Ever), they're pretty much all awesome to watch. Every time he left his chin hanging out for a right hand (so like pretty much 8-9 rounds tonight) I was jumping up in my seat.

PS: Shocking, shite refereeing. There's probably a good joke to be made about O'Connor signing for Matchroom, but I for one cannot call anything to mind.

I think that more likely it’s a combination of Khan not liking Brook and the Hatton-not-wanting-Witter-to-get-paid mindset and that now Pac seems to be possible again he really wants a contest with one of the sports icon level stars.
