106:103 Jennings
104:105 Rivas
103:106 Rivas.

Looking at my RBR I had it 107:106 Jennings going into the last round. So even if Jennings would have survived. The knock down would have put Rivas a point up on my score card.

Wasn't a very good fight though and hard to score with little happening.

I can't see Rivas going very far. He needs to improve a lot.
Jennings at least outjabbed and overall outworked him. Rivas was just uneffectively pressing forward. He really needs to improve.

I didn't see the fight, but another poster said Rivas' stamina is shvt. How is it possible he pulled ahead in the second half unless that poster is completely off base.

I think it was just a tough fight to score. Exodus said too many close rounds.

Great win for Rivas regardless. Finally a name on his resume. Wondering how he does at a level up from here. Can't imagine him climbing much higher unless he and his corner start having more of a game plan for his fights. I heard his corner was telling him between rounds, "this is a 12 round fight, pace yourself" or something to that point.

I enjoyed the fight and found it intriguing even if it was low on drama until the finale. I thought from the moment the fight was scheduled that it was really difficult to pick a winner with any confidence. I thought the same thing throughout the fight but I also thought Rivas, while always coming forward, simply wasn't throwing enough. I thought he was looking really tired and I was surprised at the amount of energy he was able to summon in round 12.

Jennings is a tidy boxer but he's not really cut out for the fight game it seems to me. He's a nice guy and way too gentile. He makes me think of the middle-class embezzler in jail with gang-bangers and assorted ruffians and villains, someone who just doesn't fit in with the hardmen. I'll not forget him talking smack about Dillian Whyte and shortly after was confronted by an affronted DW who wanted to take issue with Bryant's assessment. We'll Bryant looked really shaken at being cornered by a belligerent Whyte, he just wasn't expecting to be challenged to explain himself there and then without scripting or supervision by a pissed off bully boy like Whyte.

Look on the bright side Bry. At least you've been spared being totally destroyed by Anthony Joshua and we have been spared the spectacle. Shame about the payday though.
