How long will Ruiz last
1 round
2 round
3 round
etc up to about 5 should be enough
Don’t underestimate Ruiz.

Ruiz has the ability and hand speed along with the bal lS to cause Joshua problems, can’t believe how underestimated he is being by most, if anything it’s not Ruiz lack of muscle or toned physique that is the problem here, the problem will be he just simply won’t be big enough that’s all, nothing else, yes he’s not Ascetically great looking but it’s boxing not body building or men’s health magazine, he’s fit, aggressive, has very fast hands and feet, much faster than Joshua, and throws in combinations unlike other heavyweights, Joshua is a mid range fighter and imo isn’t a good inside fighter at all and that’s where Ruiz imo and his previous fight show he will be, question is, does he get caught coming in and when he does how does his chin hold up, again only imo but for all Joshua’s K.o’s on his record he is not a one punch knockout artist or hugely concussive puncher, it’s usually a opponent gets stunned and he is quick to keep throwing before refs usually jump in, but this is in America where they let real K.o’s get registered on your record, refs aren’t so squeamish and soft and quick to jump in as they do in the uk and let fighters fight and give every opportunity, imo Joshua wins but Ruiz is most certainly not the fat useless fighter most are trying to make him out to be.

Agreed :TU:

Ruiz beat Parker in my book, in Parker's hometown. Parker went within a whisker of KOing Whyte in Whyte's hometown.

Ruiz will give it a damned good go, I think he will see the final bell at the very least.

If it goes the distance, it won’t do his stick much good with the casual fans, lost count of the people who have said to me “He won’t last a round with AJ” Just going by appearance

Has Ruiz been properly hurt to anyone's knowledge (amateur or pro)?

An Whyte lost every round to Joshua before getting stopped

not sure what any of this proves

Ruiz is morbidly obese, thus won't be able to avoid Joshua's power punches for long, thus won't last very long. Going 12 rounds with Parker doesn't mean anything. Parker went 12 with Whyte who AJ flattened. If this blob goes past six Joshua should be embarrassed.

That it's not necessarily going to be a walkover.

Forget about all this person beat that person who went 12 Round with that person who got flattened in 2 rounds by that person. Every fight is different. Styles makes fights.

Is this the longest layoff of AJ's career? I think it is. Hmmm...fighting in the US; needs to make a statement; Ruiz better than most give him credit for; long layoff? LOL, it'll just take AJ a bit longer to dispatch him. Round 10.

Yeh, I remember his name, when he was hardly relevant fighting Jack and DeGale.

That too at SMW..

Some of us thought Renold Quinlan would be a good test, but that was a farce..

Why cant he fight any natural LHW's?

Someone like Vyacheslav Shabranskyy would be a decent test.

Why not Nikola Sjekloca?

Maybe he'll turn around and fight quickly after this one against a better fighter. The guys you mentioned either just fought or are fighting in the next week or so.

Card is really poor.

Joshua and Callum Smith 1/33 with bookmakers says it all.
