I was really impressed with both fighters. I was expecting a competitive fight and I was definitely not disappointed. I think both will have benefited from the experience and should both have enhanced their reputation. I didn't score it but it seemed like a close fight to me.

Demirezen showed a good chin, decent defence, head movement, punch variety and he took the fight to Efe. Ajagba showed a very good jab, a good chin, the ability to box on the retreat and coolness under pressure. The Turk was in no way fazed by Ajagba's power and I can see him being in some good fights at European level. I'd like to see him fight Schwartz I think he'd have too much for him.

I can picture a rematch in about 3 or 4 years when they are both top 10

yeah but i thought they'll earn 30-50k, they were putting their 0s on the stake, 10-15k sounds so low, wonder if it's really low or normal for this kind of HW prospects.

Plant was paid good money so was his opponent. Ugas-Fig earned $300k apiece

Maybe it was cuz Pac was guaranteed $10m and Thurman $2.5m

I would really like to see trainer Ronnie Shields working on Efe's hand speed, especially in delivering his combinations. Maybe some flexibility workouts too because his stiff, mechanical style could hinder his development as he moves on to tougher opposition.
