Even if you completely ignored the political barriers preventing certain bouts from being made (i.e. Top Rank/Queensberry/ESPN vs. PBC/Showtime/Fox vs. Matchroom/Golden Boy/DAZN), there aren’t any decent world-rated opponents available for Tyson Fury to face.

For the record, I’m not defending Tyson Fury, because I probably won't make the effort to watch this underwhelming bout, but I do feel that people are overreacting to him facing Otto Wallin.

The man has at least 5 years of his prime ahead of him. Given his physical attributes add a couple of years more where he will dominate if he chooses to.

Multiple big contracts on whichever network pays the most.

Of course he picks his fights wisely.

Again! Who of whatever you consider a worthy/top opponent was REALLY available and would've made sense in light of wilder rematch and/or challenging winner of ruiz/joshua (pulev) or whoever will own the fuck1ng straps then?

More likely it's people just taking the piss. They know it's a no brainer who wins, but it's a goof to vote for the guy that won't win anyway.

Nah i normally like Fury, except when he's engaging in gross mismatches like this and the last one. I voted for Wallin just to be different.
