Hunter vs. Kownacki would be good. They're both PBC guys, right?

Bah, Kownacki fighting someone with a pulse was probably too much to hope for anyway.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 06:50Hunter signed with Matchroom.jujigatame wrote: ↑08 Dec 2019, 21:25 Hunter vs. Kownacki would be good. They're both PBC guys, right?

Adam Kownacki is the highest world-rated heavyweight contender within the PBC stable that hasn’t tasted defeat in his most recent outing, which means he’ll very likely face Deontay Wilder during the second half of 2020, assuming ‘The Bronze Bomber’ defeats Tyson Fury during their February 22nd rematch.jujigatame wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 21:28Bah, Kownacki fighting someone with a pulse was probably too much to hope for anyway.
Kownacki’s handlers won’t allow him to take any risks that could scupper his guaranteed title shot and the decent payday that accompanies it.
And besides, Al Haymon is strategically manoeuvring the various chess pieces within his own organisation and is also using his powerful influence over the WBC to ensure the PBC retain ownership of their world title, hence the reason why Wilder keeps being matched-up against his fellow stablemates.

Hunter got the better shots in and won his rounds more decisively, but I think Pov pipped more of the close rounds. I had Pov slightly up at the end of the fight.
