Look at my list and put together the current era list. I don't see any comparison really.

Fury might be the only guy you can put with the best guys from the 90's. Depends on what you call the current era too.

If you mean 2010-today it's closer with the Klitschkos in there and Povetkin.

If you go just on today's active guys, not even close.

Keeping in mind these were #15 and on of a list that included quite a few all time greats.....

Briggs - good tools, heavy hands, lineal champ at one point, underachiever

Botha - good boxer. Whooping Tyson even though he was fat Frans and got stupid. Won title but was stripped.

Bruno - eh, threw that in for Brit fans.

Ruiz - was champ. His fav fight of mine was Tua fight.

Butterbean - novelty skull cracker.

Savarese - good solid working class heavy. Gave Foreman tough time. Sent Douglas home to bye bye.

Schulz - similar to savarese. Probably better.

Seldon - talented small man. Athletic. Great jab. Was champ. Peed himself against top talent. Took dive vs Tyson. Made grotesque mask of Joe Hipp's face. Beat Tony Tucker (??? gotta look that one up).

^^^^ there is talent there they were just fighting in a tough talent-laden era ^^^^

:OhYes:

With some of the fights that are happening presently and in the coming months we should soon have a better idea of who the best fighters of the era are and their strengths and weaknesses.

Daniel Dubois did not pan out as hoped but Usyk shows promise and we should know soon regarding Justis Huni.

Joe Joyce looks to be potentially a Bruno-level fighter.
