Hyland came out determined to put something on Maxi. He did, but Hughes dodged it, weathered it and came back to give Hyland a hiding.
Hylo is giving everything and it's not enough.

Hyland's a tough, tough guy but he's losing his composure in the 7th which will play into Hughes' hands.

i see that but he has his back to reff. i dont know maybe reff gotta be more dominate,though maxi was going to win shouldnt take anything from him

Was a strange one. Dunno whether Hyland had given up or thought he was getting a count. Either way Hughes was dominating.

The ref should have turned Hyland back round before calling box on.
Hyland hadn't realised he had overuled the count until Maxi was about to crack him one !
The result would have been the same though

The Ref should really have made sure both boxers were facing each other before telling them to box on IMO.

Replay and the ref clearly says "box on" - he didn't count so fair enough.
Lovely Cinderella Man story for Maxi. O'Hagen obvs a good trainer.
