Apart from a decent right hand from AJ, Pulev won the fifth.
Joshua still seems gun-shy. He’s on the back foot.

Joshua still lacking aggression. Grabbing a bit too much for my liking.

Joshua boxed well in that round, but he’s reluctant to engage.
Joshua wins the round, but he’s no longer the aggressive fighter he was prior to the AJ loss.

Joshua's fitness levels are unimpressive.
As the younger man he should be dancing rings around the rather predictable 39 year old.

Pulev landed some great punches around the 1 minute mark.
Joshua grabbing again.
But AJ’s jabs may have stolen the round.
Is the Brit feeling the pace, even though he’s winning?

Rd 8 Pulev lands one perfect right hand but that’s it, Joshua out works him. Pulev coming forward constantly but it means nothing. He’s being outworked. Give ah the round. Lot can happen in the championship rounds.

It’s over KO. Thought it was a very competent performance by AJ who stayed cool, calm and in control the whole time.

AJ’s finish tonight was great, perhaps even fantastic, but his overall performance has been subpar.
He loses to Fury.
