I think Fury thinks he's a level above Wach so he's taking chances and hence he's been caught cleaner than anybody has managed so far

Probably about right. Fury has actually mixed it tonight but only against a much older opponent who was never all that skilled to start with and the way it's going (cut aside) is pretty predictable.
