Yarde just does not seem the brightest. I know they brought James Cook in but the last time I saw him was when he was training Larry Olubamiwo. Yarde claims the team was inexperienced and that explains his losses. Well why didn't you get experienced trainers who know what they are doing so that when you fought Kovalev in Russia you would have actually beaten him. Kovalev was on his way out at that stage and Yarde almost got him. It should have been a win but he has not developed the fundamentals under Tunde. His jab doesn't seem that good and now he is scared of running out of gas like he did vs Kovalev. I have to go with Arthur again here. It will get a bit rough in the championship rounds but Lyndons been hurt and got through it in a few fights and I reckon he nicks the rounds with his jab again.

So what’s Yardes gameplan this time? More busy & aggressive & knock Arthur’s head off ?

Looks like everyone’s picking Arthur as Yarde hasn’t changed his trainer …which is telling, or certainly will be if he wins or loses tonight…

I think Yarde wins tonight.

Whilst I thought Arthur deserved the fight first time and has an extremely good jab I just think Yarde is a better overall fighter if his head’s right. After how Covid affected his family I really don’t think he could have been properly focussed last year for the fight.

Whilst I think Yarde will win I’m really hoping Lyndon does the business again as I just don’t want to see Tunde acting like he’s the world’s best trainer.

Lyndon was GB, Yarde unlicensed. We will have to give Tunde credit if he comes through.

I’ll give Yarde credit if he comes through. He’s got a lot of natural talent and ability.

It’ll take a lot for me to give Tunde credit as I think he cost Yarde in the last fight by not reading the fight properly, not noticing about the right hand that was barely being used and forgetting to put the gun shield in a few times. This wouldn’t bother me as much but it’s also the guy refers to himself in the 3rd person, thinks he’s a master tactician and talks absolute rubbish.

I remember he trained Bilal Ali - Tunde said he had faster hands than Amir Khan and similar ability - he then lost to 1-4 Ed Harrison in his 5th fight.

Have a look on the thread. May not be accurate.

Its amazing after he won with one hand.
lol minny with the sarcasm, just because you win a fight first time doesnt mean you should be backed second time. Just look at zelfa and kiko, zelfa won that fight by shutout, no one (possibly you) would back him in a rematch. Lyndon usually uses one hand in a lot of his fights, and we will see how many times he throws his right hand in this one, through fear of getting countered. Yarde was also happy to chessbox, he wont be making that mistake again. Let me make it plain id like to see arthur win, i always back the mancs (and pretty much anyone else) against the londoners (and its borders), but its unlikely, especially since the rumour was frank w had to push him into the fight. Anyway il revist this on sunday :)
I have no loyalty to mancs. Lyndon was GB. Yarde was white collar.
Shame Arthur was blown away tbh….

Worse was sheeraz, should have been dqd, got to feel for him

I heard it was a good night of action. Some occurred in the ring as well. I don't think Fwank has ever had a trouble free show at the Copperbox.

Last time there it was McNess fans, football fans, decided to try it on with a load of Yarde fans from Hackney.... last night you hard Yarde, Arthur, who is from a very rough area and had good support, Hamza, who I don't know, but the Asian community up here sell tickets and are not shy. It could be any of that group. Skeete can sell as well, all from South London. But you have to blame the poor young traveller kid! Shame on you!

Is it online?

The whole card was a shambles by any measure so not surprised it kicked off with laidback security
