I think most that bring up criticisms for Tank's opposition is somewhat warranted, but is the reason he hasn't fought Lopez, Haney, Garcia, Kombosis, because he turned down fight offers? I don't know, but at 27, he has time yet.
Floyd Sr claimed Haney tuned up Tank in sparring. Honestly, I think Stevenson will force several guys up to 140 within a year. He may be better than all of them
The shame of it is, that Tank brings enough money to have anyone he wants in the ring. Everyone from 130 to 140 has offered to fight him, some of the belt holders would pull in career high paydays just splitting 50/50 with him. That's the big shame of it. So many good fighters don't get the right fights at the lower weights because they can't bring in the money. Tank can, and look who he gets to fight...
Hopefully when he is out on his own he can actually fight who he calls out on social media... We can but hope

tank leaving floyd is a good thing if it gives a chance to open up his opposition a bit
like i said, his opposition hasnt been terrible, he's not fighting total cans. its just that, for a guy who looks as good as he does, you want to see him vs top guys, and other fighters around his weight who are even younger have been doing it

That's the thing about the lighter weights too, you don't quite know when their peek is going to be.
Heck, some promising fighters at 130 have peaked by 28, and a lot by 30.
It would be a crying shame if Tank never got to create some sort of legacy, like picking a weight and trying to clean it out.

My prediction: Rolly will become a member of the “when trash talking went wrong” YouTube fraternity.
If you look at the photos of the "Heated faceoff" ( ) you can see both of them trying not to crack up, it's actually pretty sweet.
I’m actually planning on watching the full pressor tonight for entertainment as I’ve only seen snippets. Some of the clips I’ve seen were hilarious. Rolly loves the limelight and is certainty making the most of it.

Yes, and I like his dress sense.
The guy is very good at self promotion, he got this opportunity, he has promoted it, and he deserves a payday to lose his "0", and I'm sure it won't be boring while it lasts.

PPV price here is ridiculous.
I won't buy this because of it.

Lol Rolly is a funny dude but letting his chin up in the air when he's fighting would probably cost him a lot vs Tank.

O’Sullivan as a “title defense” for Lara is shameful on a PPV card considering the alphabets fed him him an unqualified clubfighter named “Cornflake” to “win” his MW “title” in the first place. It’s not even an entertaining mismatch

Only thing making this fight something to watch is Rolly's illegal tactics. How many low blows, wrestling, punches behind the head will be thrown? Probably a ton.
Actually if I was training Gervonta that's something that I would have worked on a ton. That relatiatory huge punch behind the head.

I wonder if somehow Tank is "traded" for Rolly since he didn't look good vs Cruz? Isn't supposed that Tank should be in a big money fight or take a very safe fight before a big payday fight?
Rolly is a big dude, raw fighter but big and strong. Rolly has all the attributes to be built up as a PPV attraction if he beats Tank-who best win was Pedraza.

I hope Rolly wins because he'll look foolish if he loses now with all that big talk. He is very big for 135, but it takes more than size to beat Tank.

Tank pushing Rolly off the stage had me howling with laughter. It looked like when an NPC glitches in a video game, Rolly dropping down did.

i just cant forget how utterly bad and useless rolo was vs marinez, and he hasnt impressed me at any point. he'll need to have improved 10x to hang with tank.
