Weird choice of venue given how much Parker makes of his derby county affiliation.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑13 Sep 2022, 15:10 Rumours this will be announced shortly. Nov 5 in Nottingham.
That was my first thought but then I thought where in Derby could it be? Too late in the year, and not enough demand, for it to be in the football stadium and I don’t think there’s a good sized indoor arena there so the Nottingham Arena is probably a good shout.samwbr wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 01:45Weird choice of venue given how much Parker makes of his derby county affiliation.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑13 Sep 2022, 15:10 Rumours this will be announced shortly. Derby Velodrome holds 5k for gigs so plenty big enough and looks available that night.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 02:40That was my first thought but then I thought where in Derby could it be? No chance, he's barely known outside of the sport.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 08:05Well they were looking at Pride Park before..samwbr wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 08:03Derby Velodrome holds 5k for gigs so plenty big enough and looks available that night.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 02:40

Does Parker sell out Pride pakr?
Frank was talking about 30,000 at Pride Park - he’s definitely thinking more than 5,000. In fairness the Nottingham Arena is probably the right size for it.samwbr wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 08:03Derby Velodrome holds 5k for gigs so plenty big enough and looks available that night.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 02:40That was my first thought but then I thought where in Derby could it be? Parker won't sell it out v Andrade, if it happens.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 09:47Frank was talking about 30,000 at Pride Park - he’s definitely thinking more than 5,000. Yeah - you’re probably right but Frank must still be wearing his positive polly pants after thinking Fury/Whyte would do 2m PPV buys.samwbr wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 10:05Parker won't sell it out v Andrade, if it happens.maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 09:47Frank was talking about 30,000 at Pride Park - he’s definitely thinking more than 5,000. Any spoilers on what it actually did? I would guess at something like 750k buys. Frank’s been super vague about it which I don’t think he would have been if it had done 1m+Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 10:24Any spoilers on what it actually did? I remember him saying "AJ-Usyk did 700k? yeh, we did way more than that"..maverick23 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 10:52I would guess at something like 750k buys.
