I can't get my ahead around why the scores are kept secret until the end of the fight. Are there any other sports other than boxing and MMA where that happens? It's crackers when you think about it. Leaves things wide open to dodginess.

Just add a point for a knockdown, I guess?

if you are just scoring rounds to a fighter , you cant give extra credit for kds really though

so if the fighters both win 5 rounds in a 10 rounder, but one guy drops the other in 3 of the rounds, then it is a 5-5 draw, instead of 95-92

You could use knockdowns as a tie breaker, I guess

knockdowns have to count as a full point off. otherwise every time your buzzed you can just take a knee a few times...

The current scoring system is fine, Only thing i would tweak is Id tell judges to give way more 10-10s... oh and no ref juding on anything but small hall 4 rounders.

Unnless your sure of who to give the round, its a 10-10... cant help but feel like many close rounds the judges dont actualy know who won it, but are forced to guess due to 10-10s being frowned apon... You watch 3 mins of close back and fowards boxing live, its very possible to not be able to split it.

Then ontop of that id just demote bad judges more often.
