Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith | SKY PPV - 21 January 2023
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith | SKY PPV - 21 January 2023
think eubank might be behind on the cards early on but will start taking over later on and maybe stop him late on
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith | SKY PPV - 21 January 2023
Would make a good Saturday night fight on SKY Sports but no way is this PPV worthy, the gravy train will hit the buffers soon hopefully starting with this. In a cost of living crisis with people skint i can't see many wanting to pay 20 quid for this

Eubank must be making some money promoting KFC.

"I forgot I was wearing this..."
Money well spent, I thought Liam Smith made a mug of Eubank on the specifics there but I guess being "calm" while waffling shit means he won the day according to what I'm reading

Other boxers used a bit of profanity.

Eubank will lose some rounds just by doing nothing and trying to be like Roy Jones but ultimately it will be a comfortable win for him.

Just watched the press conference. The 60% thing first time around was fairly humorous. Now it’s just boring.
Can’t see anything than Smith winning personally. Size difference won’t be too much; it’ll be no where near the Canelo fight and Smith did himself proud.
Eubank against Williams is the eye-opener. Without those weird knockdowns (that he won’t get against Smith) he probably loses that fight.
I see a clear 7-5 to Beefy and another loss to a domestic rival for Eubank.

Shall we work out the details once Eubank holds aloft Liam's severed head.

What do you think the issue was there? It looked like his punch resistance was totally goneDioufy wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 09:26 Just watched the press conference. The 60% thing first time around was fairly humorous. Now it’s just boring.

Weight-cut maybe? Pressure of the fight in Wales? Andrade fight did something to him?wrighty wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 07:22What do you think the issue was there? I think that’s bollocks. You wanna punish someone you really hurt them. The hate was real and to me Eubank was just giving an excuse for failing to knock him out.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 08:04I'm sure he even said as much, to punish him. It's happened a lot of times over the years.

He said he had an injury.
Smith is as basic as they come. Eubank shouldn't have any problems.

Reminds me off a lot of British boxers.
What's he do better any Eubank or what's his best atributes?
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith | SKY PPV - 21 January 2023
So carried him? Had an injury? Was at 15%? Or just had food Poisoning from the KFC just around the corner from my house?TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 08:12 He said he had an injury.

Smith’s skill-set being vastly under looked here.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith | SKY PPV - 21 January 2023
Liam's a high level plodder, who starts slow, but has determination, confidence and is a spiteful puncher. Smith is a world level operator at 154, no doubt. Eubank has only lost to a slickster and a consummate boxer and does very well against guys who come forward.Dioufy wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 08:19So carried him? Had an injury? Was at 15%?
