I know what you are getting at there. I wouldn't have done until recently but I was there the other day. I would walk the streets (obviously), it's not dangerous but it has clearly been used as an end point for a lot of asylum seekers in recent years compared to the number of people who live there. I can see how people who have lived there for generations may feel like their community has been negatively impacted.

Sparking someone should be the last thing you have to do. I don't agree with this. The lad had created a disturbance and was coming at Julius at the time. In my opinion the punch didn't have to be thrown. Julius could have pushed him away firmly. I just think security should do everything they can to avoid throwing punches. In my opinion, Julius has to be able to justify that by saying it was self defence but was it? The chap was aggressive but a firm push would have created distance and then if the lad comes toward you aggressively, then it's reasonable but lets remember it only takes one punch like that for a guy to bang his head on the ground and die. How many of you think that Julius would get off in court if that had happened? I understand the counter argument that if the lad throws a punch at Julius and Julius falls and hits his head he could be the one who gets seriously injured. He has a right to protect himself. I just don't think the situation was at the stage where a punch had to be thrown.

It's a terrible option, you are right.

Pushing someone who is all fired up will never stop a fight. It’ll likely just make them more angry.

Francis lost his security license..

Now he wants to have a fight with Tyson.

Despite BoxPark head Roger Wade defending Francis for his actions, the former British heavyweight champion told TMZ he can no longer do his job.

“The security authority industry called the SIA actually suspended my licence to work,” he said in an interview with TMZ from his home.

“I can’t work at the moment, so I’m trying to get that sorted so I can get back to work as soon as possible.”

However, Francis would be willing to share a ring with Tyson again if the money was right.

“If there is a promoter that’s willing to promote a sanctioned fight. I never have liked talking about money, but they could come up with a decent offer, then who knows?

“I’m going to put it out there. I’m going to say, ‘Yes. Yes, we can have a rematch.’ I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, ‘Yes.'”

The police aren't taking any action so imo the SIA should give him his licence back.

The SIA can be a bit tricky to deal with as we found out trying to get my son a licence. He had to jump through hoops to finally get it.

100% he should be given his license back. It sounds like the police reviewed all the evidence and decided what he did was fair. Hopefully he’s able to get back working.
