If Jerry Quarry would have won that Boxing tournament for the WBA HW Championship back in 1967/1968,
would he now be considered a "great" ?
(BTW Is Jimmy Ellis considered a boxing 'great" ?)

Well, it would have helped his cause. Just being a champion would have made people think about him more. One more good win always helps. It was a close fight, but he came up a little short.
