Probably doing it to help with the judging.
Any judge worth their salt would ignore it surely.
So none of our judges then…..
quite

Dalton making some excuses for a boring fight - seems genuine.
It's a good win I guess - tricky mover with a (claimed) chest infection.
Been 12 rounds etc.

115-113 Smith, just never caught fire, it threatened to a few times but petered out every time, far too cagey from both men but I expected better from Smith, never pressed enough and went through the gears, was too passive and both men were just waiting for the other guy to throw so they could counter so there were just spells of both feinting

Smith's right hands were the difference, Benjamin rode a lot of them but they were eye catching, Benjamin came alive in the 8th and 9th , began landing his own right hand clean and it looked like the fight was turning but Smith had a strong 10th to stop the sway, had him taking the last as well to edge it, credit to Benjamin he's an awkward customer and if he believed in his aggression a bit more he could've got it

Think Smith hits hard enough, he just never caught Benjamin clean enough with the type of shots that should be knocking him out although he did show a good beard as well tbf Benjamin

Agree with MDP - his power is fine.
TSB is a tricky mover, very hard to hit clean.

These women's fights are such a low level technically, this isn't fit for television.

You're right this isn't very good, nor was Smith or Clarke AND women shouldn't almost never be top of the bill, but "it is what it is"

Jonas looking a bit ragged, Dicaire looking the more fitter in these latter rounds.
