I had Cordina close. So many of the rounds were tough to score that actually I can see how someone can get to 116-111 Rak and the score they I had it.

I can see it. It would be weird if they all scored it that way but with the close rounds you can see them going that way. The 115-112 is just the reverse on the close rounds.

I had it so close that it was only the KD that won it for Cordina.
He fought a level above what I expected and that shows a lot. If he can win the rematch without Rakh being one eyed is another story.

would be interested to see how the judges scored the last 2, it's possible cordina was actually losing going into the championship rounds. he came on a bit more in those 2 after going quieter in the previous 3 or so

Seemed to be getting asked questions by the doctor as well. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was fighting through double vision or some kind of injury.

One thing I’ll say is Cordina’s chin and ability to take it to the body can’t be questioned. I reckon the shots Rak landed would have ironed out or curled over a hell of a lot of guys.

No problem with the scores being all over the place.

ya, i thought joe was starting to look gassed already in the 4th, and he was then hurt in 5 and 6, which usually would lead to rak grinding a guy down, but joe held up well and never looked in serious trouble after. he smartened up a bit and stopped trading as much and as frantically too
