I enjoy the Wardley fights like the Fisher ones. good for casuals like me - Wardley's our slightly detuned Wilderfunso banjo baby wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 15:17 Fat Gorman had fast hands and caught Wardley too easily with uppers. But the power of Wardley was impressive. Gorman like a bully flopped out pretty soon under a barrage.
Way too many sceptic about Wardley, I think he takes this and I'd love for someone to put some many in and bring someone like kabayel over to defend the euro. That would be interesting

This will be a much better fight than the joke main event for sure .
I guess thats why they put it on so at least there would be a competitive fight .
Wardley favourite for me as he has more and better experience - however he has a tendancy to be hesitant and often gets clipped which usually fires him up to action but adele has a bit of pop so anything could happen .
Wardley stoppage in the second half .

Wardley looks like an accident waiting to happen, to me.
Whether Adeleye is the man to burst the bubble I’m not sure.

Is Wardley better than Richard Towers? I remember Towers getting horribly exposed against Lucas Browne.

Re: Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye | TNT PPV - 28 October 2023
That was on the Quigg/Munroe 1 undercard. I was ringside. Funniest thing Ive ever seen. Towers like Bambi on ice then gifted the win. He leant over the top ropes at one point after being wobbled and said 'fornicating Hell!!!!' to his corner team...margaret thatcher wrote: ↑24 Oct 2023, 13:44 towers got exposed before that when he was flopping around like a fish out of water vs that frenchman. wardley wouldve ko'd him

ya, i distinctly remember that. if there were ever a 10-7 round without a kd, that actually went the full 3 minutes, that mightve been itgarethhop wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 10:24That was on the Quigg/Munroe 1 undercard. Will be fireworks in this fight.

Shame it's buried away in Saudi, it would have made a nice main event on a Saturday TV show rather than on PPV

It might not translate to anything when it comes to the actual fight, but I’ve been watching and to me Wardley looks a bit timid when stood with Adeleye.
Maybe it’s just his laid back nature, but it’s a red flag to me. I was going with Adeleye already, so that kind of reinforces my thoughts really.
Roll on fight night.

adeleye is the one running behind his homies, and you think wardley looks the timid one?Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 21:14 It might not translate to anything when it comes to the actual fight, but I’ve been watching and to me Wardley looks a bit timid when stood with Adeleye.

I recall Mick Hennessy wanted to put Fury-Chisora I for the British title on in Marbella. I think I'm right in that. The BBBoC stopped it. Anyone remember exactly why? I believe they didn't want a British title being fought for abroad.

Re: Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye | TNT PPV - 28 October 2023
I expect wardley doesnt want to lose his rag in the build up which could follow into the ring and cause him to lose concentration - no doubt that adele is trying to do exactly that .Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 21:14 It might not translate to anything when it comes to the actual fight, but I’ve been watching and to me Wardley looks a bit timid when stood with Adeleye.

I’m talking about the face to faces at the pressers and the weigh in just now. Again, it could be nothing and even if it is, Wardley can still obviously win the fight. My moneys on Adeleye though, he’s put together better, can see him landing with right hands over the top of Wardley’s jab or even a quick left hook on the inside. Cracking fight either way.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 21:20adeleye is the one running behind his homies, and you think wardley looks the timid one?Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑26 Oct 2023, 21:14 It might not translate to anything when it comes to the actual fight, but I’ve been watching and to me Wardley looks a bit timid when stood with Adeleye.

I think Adeleye has conducted himself poorly throughout and hoping Wardley wins. I think he will too. Deffo the highlight fight for me.
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye | TNT PPV - 28 October 2023
just want to float this but given adeles behaviour and supreme confidence could he have a bit of the boar meat off the farm in his system ....
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye | TNT PPV - 28 October 2023
I have Wardley a strong favourite for this, BBBofC officials will make it a much closer affair.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑27 Oct 2023, 16:42 I think Adeleye has conducted himself poorly throughout and hoping Wardley wins. I think he will too. Deffo the highlight fight for me.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but apparently it's biggest purse ever for a British title fight
