Oh that did make me laugh.IRONFIST wrote: ↑16 Aug 2023, 08:42 Wilder wins by vicious KO, there was a time I would have backed Joshua but he's now gunshy and regressed rapidly. Still full of himself too, not helped by the likes of Buncey's bootlicking, he's done so much bootlicking he could be going down with a case of cherry blossom poisoning.
Great interview that, who is the interviewer, really enjoyed their considered approach, quite refreshing change from the bombast and bootlicking these days.big lennox wrote: ↑15 Aug 2023, 20:34 An excellent summing up by Dominic Ingle. The Interviewer comes over very well, too:
well there's something else joshua and wilder have in common then, bunch of tits rightRedback Rasta wrote: ↑16 Aug 2023, 23:17 Joshua trainer bashing AGAIN
“When you’re with a fighter everything is going well then at the end something goes wrong and the first one to blame is the trainer.”
“The way it was going, the people involved, things they were doing to prepare for a fight, things were going on in training camp I would just sit and laugh by myself.
I told the management team can you just please fly me home I’m not going to be part of this, they convinced me to stay, change things around, which I did – I changed things around and we ended up doing good.
But one week into camp I was ready to leave camp so if that was the case [that they weren’t happy with me] they should have sent me home when I wanted to go.”
Comment : Is this guy ever going to take responsibility for his failures? I doubt it.
I'm not sure - it doesn't say his name but I agree, he is very good: measured and listens to the answers. And Dom gives real meat on the bone with his considered responses.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑16 Aug 2023, 18:09Great interview that, who is the interviewer, really enjoyed their considered approach, quite refreshing change from the bombast and bootlicking these days.big lennox wrote: ↑15 Aug 2023, 20:34 An excellent summing up by Dominic Ingle. It is about Grarcia, yes. But these comments were made by Joshua in the past few days.samwbr wrote: ↑18 Aug 2023, 01:06This was from Robert Garcia months ago?Redback Rasta wrote: ↑16 Aug 2023, 23:17 Joshua trainer bashing AGAIN

Based on what?Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑18 Aug 2023, 03:34 Hearn really seems to be back tracking from the fight judging by the change in language, something is amiss.
Timeframes and deadlines?Redback Rasta wrote: ↑18 Aug 2023, 02:50?
Hearn says he has met with the Saudis a number of times, including twice over in Saudi Arabia, and is now putting a 2 to 3 week timeframe on wrapping the Wilder fight up. Otherwise he will 'look at a November/December fight for Joshua'.
Wilder seems to be wanting a fight in October but Hearn says that 'concerns him' and he would rather see Wilder fight in September.
Meanwhile, despite all this talking, there is still no mention of anyone ever having received anything in writing.
