Sheeraz has just dispatched a shot Williams, doesn't mean all that much
it means Lockett should not be allowed to oversee boxers.
Boxers who might be shot but who have been top class in their day deserve a final crack of the whip as long as the trainer is prepared to jump in quickly as Lockett did tonight
Should Bomac not be allowed to oversee boxers either cos he trained a shot to pieces Khan to fight Brook ?
Bomac's main danger is his arteries. He can fornicate off as well. The moron brings guns into the country. He's no regard for health, his heart has been screaming TKO since 2002.

Sheeraz is still young but they haven't taken any risks since a past his best Skeete outboxed him

williams always had that blink twitch thingy, going back to his days as a prospect, but his resistence is totally shot . needs to retire
ah, did not know re blinking.
he was shot through, they must have known in camp. Lockett should know better, he oversaw Blackwell get beaten to near death. Lockett should not be overseeing anyone.
He’s apparently sparred well with Ben Whittaker so who knows

Way harsh Sean.
He threw in the towel and he’s done it before (Smith 1)
and he is the reason Blackwell got ended, did nothing to protect him. Scumbag in my eyes.
Can't let that go. Lockett is one of the best trainers in the game. He saved Williams tonight. Liam sparked his previous opponent and had a chance in this fight due to his power, but Sheeraz was simply imperious.
I'd be happy to have Lockett in my son's corner if my lad was a pro.

surely Lockett knew this in camp, awful. He's seen an opponent get killed in Towell, and sent Blackwell out to get nearly killed. Awful.
Williams had looked good in camp - certainly not shot to bits as he did there.
I know you'd expect the trainer to be confident - but Gary sounded 100% genuine and confident prior.
We have seen Williams get so hyped and nervous before big fights when the pressure is on him. Gary commented on that a good few years ago too.
Locket is one of the best in the Uk.

Wow Williams really was awful he (lives up to my username) went down from a basic jab that a footballer would be proud of going down from a light tap. does he have brain damage? hope he hangs them up.

Who is the presenter ? Looks like a kid dragged in on work experience.
I think a gust of wind would have knocked over Williams last night, shame to see things end like that for him. Sheeraz looked like a giant next to him as did Fletcher against his opponent, god knows how they make the weight ?

I wouldn't be surprised. No punch resistance at all left and the blinking is a concern. Needs to turn it in.

Suprised people are mentioning Williams blinking. He’s been like that all his career, its nothing new.

It looks a great win on paper, but Williams' ability to hold a punch is shot to pieces.
There's something suspect about Sheeraz's career route so far. Another W@rren hype job who will be found wanting when he gets an undeserved "world" title crack.

Impressive win for Sam Noakes and double champion into the bargain(British & Commonwealth).
I'd like to see Noakes take on a tougher challenger for his first British title defence. He's dealt well with his opposition so far, but it's time to loosen the leash a little more

Yarde's opponent was typical of what we've come to expect....completely over matched
The fight was as bad as his hair style

Yes, in fact it seems to have got better the more punches he has taken! Always thought it was more of a twitch. Hope he can find a life away from boxing as he has been a favourite of mine for many years. I only started getting dazn when his fight with andrade went on there.

I doubt very much he retires.
Whilst he has had some nice pay days, I wouldn`t be too confident he would have invested them too wisely .. I hope I`m wrong.
He is still relatively young so will need to work a few more years. Boxing is going to be his only opportunity to make a living - really don`t see him ready to become a doorman or taxi driver quite yet.
