Had it 96-93 for Chisora and can't argue with 97-92 or 95-94 as some round were close. After the 8th it semed like it's becoming close and thought that Joyce might get himeslef to a draw or Chisora could get robbed again but that knockdown in the 9th cemented it. Chisora clearly landed the better punches. Looked horrible in the last 5 rounds but he always looks like that in second halves of his fights. A bit disappointed that he is friends with the nazi guy. Don't see where Chisora goes after this. Probably a fight against a top 15 guy, maybe a final eliminator fight, but all the top 15 guys will probably beat him. As for Joyce he does seem finished. Those 2 losses to Zhang really took a lot from him. Also he is aging and becoming worse. Joyce vs Wilder may be a good recycling fight where loser will have nowhere to go and winner may get another decent fight as they both seem to be in a similar situation and they can probably still make another payday from fighting each other.
even Wilder would ko this Joyce. huge static target and cracked chin. I also wouldn't want to see it either!
Yes, you can't face even 2024 Wilder with no defence. The fact Chisora saw and blocked a lot of Joe's punches, while landing a lot of his own flush ones is a telling sign to hang 'em up.

Joyce choosing to fight Zhang is looking like one of the worst career moves I've ever seen from a boxer.
Famous one In early 90’s. The big Latino heavyweight hope Alix the hammer Garcia, on a hot streak to a title shot, was offered a huge payday against George Foreman, but turned it down saying he wasn’t ready. Bob Arum was saying I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous thing.
Instead, he took a warmup fight against journeyman Mike Dixon for peanuts, and was promptly flattened in two rounds, pretty much ending his hopes at the big time

I would like to see both blokes leave it now. British, commonwealth and European for Joyce as well as the interim world title is a good career, Chisora has been thrills and spills and won some straps as well as banking millions on the way. My mate thought Derek looked really bad in the last 2 rounds

Just the last 2 rounds ?
He looked awful all the way though, gasping for air.
He took his fair share of punishment in that slugfest too .
Yes , you're right , he should have packed it in before now .

I imagine they will have another fight, bad idea but I can't see either of them walking away anytime soon.

Just watched the highlights. No surprise there with Chisora winning. You only need a right hand to beat Joyce. It's been a while since I've seen a fighter deteriate so quickly in his career. Great win for Chisora, however he took a bit of stick in there too so not great for his health.
Either boxer would give Moses Itauma a few rounds. Itauma would dispatch Joyce inside 3 rounds and it would go a little longer with Chisora.
The BBBoC need to have a good long look at Chisora for his own benefit, all well and good beating guys but how much damage is he taking in the process.
Also it's the end of the line for Chisora, however I can see him fighting Itauma next for another little meaningless trinket.

I'd love to see Fisher against Chisora. As Wardley said last night, Chisora is not going to get to world level again so needs to think carefully. The Fisher fight would be a huge seller between two crowd favourites.

Not sure Joyce's chin is cracked.
He took some belters last night and didn't budge. When he was knocked down it was partly his feet placement and he wasnt in trouble when he got up.
His problem is that he is just so static and has absolutely zero defence. Chisora looked like he was running on fumes tge last few rounds, although that is the way he fights.
Chisora will get hurt if he carries on. I totally respect him as a fighter but he's not my cup of tea as a bloke. He's a bully and arrogant with it. A shellacking wouldn't bother me

That was a horrific watch and he is at risk.

Chisora should definitely hang em up now and leave on a high note
I didn't think he would beat Joyce, but he did, Joyce was poor though, think he Should hang em up aswell
But yeah Derek should enjoy his dough and go off on a high
Doubt it though..

My favourite is Pele Reid getting done by euro level julius Francis so they put him in with world level orlin norris next, who starched him in one

Before the first zhang fight, yes. But he had it punched out of him by big bang, particularly in the rematch. Joyce is not world level now, no one who eats right hands like that has any business near the top of the game

Chisora said a short while ago he wanted to get to 50 fights and then retire. Happy to see him get the win and would be best as others have said for him to finish on a win. I don’t think the money there for him to fight either Fisher or Itauma, I can’t see it matching his usual paydays.
