Unreal fight. There are some clear rounds for Nakatani early. But the last 9 or so could go either way.

Nakatani much harder crisper punching.

Hernandez just insane pressure and volume, lot of sloppy almost arm punching at the chest. But just so so so many that there is a very decent chance he won.

That feels right honestly. Even though they just announced the decision, I don't feel like Hernandez comes out of this fight a lesser fighter because of it. His career definitely just got a shot in the arm, and we all would like to see him again I'm sure.

I'd be happy to see him fight the winner of Inoue vs Nakatani.

The outcome of a fight shouldn't be decided by who happens to be sitting around the ring, regardless of what the judges prefer.

But it is. Every single close round. I mean only an edge, and not consciously. It’s just some people will value the one crisp shot more than the 3 glancing shots. Some wont.

There is no way around that.

But, boxing judging is terrible regardless of that.

I'd be surprised if Inoue loses (also if he doesn't win by knockout), but this is nuts.

I don't think this should be a thing between the champ and one of the highest ranked contenders.
